Nice sets tom, i was wondering who the lucky son of a gun was that won those. I love the 1795 british set.
Do think that it would go well with the napoleonic egyptian range?

No clue what I should have posted is what series are these, here is my guess

1. Martyn is correct on piper and that I think is Sudan
2. Is the sad set Sudan or boer?
3. No clue on cm 4 South Africa 1795.


Actually bought these in a local private collection sale.

Tom. The Kaffrarian Rifles are from the Boer War series

The SAS set was re-released under the Dragon Crest banner as DB4 Black Watch Highlanders in slouch hats, part of the Boer War series

I will see if I can find out anything about CM 4, I think it has been discussed on the Forum before but not sure where. Maybe Tommy can shed some light on it

Found this little gem a few weeks ago - POLISH WINGED HUSSAR










Had a word with Mike at LL who told me that many years ago Trophy used to offer the Polish Winged Hussar in a kit form. Looks like it was originally purchased by a professional painter, I daren't tell you how much I paid for it......you'd never believe me

I confirm Trophy Miniatures, company founded in 1972, the Winged Hussar in 1974, costing at that time, in kit, 3,50£
I painted one for a friend and still have one in my "grey army"
This quality of painting ( standard amateur )I would guess 25-30$

I added a second Nile River gunboat to my fleet and expect to put it to good use in September when we wargame the Battle of Ferket. Kitchener' all Egyptian Army ( with British officers) facing off with the Dervish.

Don't underestimate the value of your figures ($25-$30) I'm sure they are worth more than that. Blimey a bog standard Trophy release of the figure sold for $90 on EBay last night :rolleyes2:
