Robert E Lee's HQ-The Widow Thompson's Farmhouse, Gettysburg. The morning of July 3rd 1863.

Lee makes his fatal tactical mistake when he orders Longstreet to launch a full frontal attack on the centre of the Union line on Cemetery Ridge.

Hi Reb,

As usual, outstanding! I constantly marvel at your talents. When it comes to making dioramas, you have no superiors and darn few peers! Thanks for sharing so much of your incredible work! Viewing your scenes and reading your excellent narratives makes me very, very glad I have chosen this as my hobby.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Great looking interior scene Bob . . . . Liked being able to peer through the glass windows and see the outside activity. I often wondered if at the moment Longstreet received his orders he was thinking Fredricksburg {eek3}. Just brilliantly done as always . . . .

Bob mate,
Outstanding as always. Love the way George Pickett is looking at Lee with hands on hips thinking that he will be at the front of this charge. How fast can my blokes move across that open ground?? As Mike said it would have been interesting to read these guys' minds at the time.
Keep up the great work.
Cheers Howard

Bob,

The whole thing borders on perfection. So beyond anything I can imagine doing, but I have to ask -- Can you give some insights on the building itself and the furnishings --- did you make the building from scratch? Again, simply wonderful. Thanks so much for posting!!

Bob, If there was an Academy award for ACW Diorama scenes YOU would win it ! {bravo}}

Great scene, perfect interior furnishings to go with the figs. Chris

Very nice dio and the room also :salute:: I can see that Longstreet with crossed arms doesn t look like to appreciate the order {sm4}
