Let it snow... (1 Viewer)

Expecting 12-20 inches of snow here this weekend in PA! Whew. A lot of super bowl parties are kaput.

We are about to get hit by our third snow storm in a week. Calling for 12-22" depending on your location and storm track. Got 22" just before Christmas, too. Been a long, cold, snowy winter for us Marylanders. Not used to so much white stuff in the D.C. area. Going to be interesting. Hope the storm doesn't kill power on Super Sunday. -- lancer

I've decided to get a divorce from winter - the romance is gone!

Well..I don't like the snow much either, but it makes me think..."you know, you DO have that dozen figures to paint!" I seem to get much more of my own crafting done in the winter. Embrace winter for "little guy" recruitment! They can take their great coats off in April. ;)

Ship some of your snow out here. Where I ski they are down to less than 10 inches of slush and it is in the 40s. This weekend they are having a charity cross country race for Breast Cancer called " Chicks on Sticks". Probably should rename it Mothers on Mush.

British Columbia is north of us and they are trucking in snow for the Winter Olympics. Not our best of winters.

Up to 12 inches predicted for southern NJ. I love global warming ! Al Gore should have to give back his Nobel Prize. Luckily I just received two big boxes of toy soldiers so I'll have something to do :)

Oh duuuuude...do I have to explain AVERAGE temps to another one?

The guys in Australia say it's unusually hot. They spotted house flies on Mount Everest as well.

I hate snow and ice, and I don't like it when it is really hot either. I would love living somewhere with just spring and fall weather, but I have never heard of anywhere with a climate like that.

And another thing...what were the Australians doing on Mt. Everest? Escaping the heat at home?!

I heard San Diego is one of the nicest places to live, climate wise that is.

us new yorkers are getting it tomorrow.
and i'm not happy about it.

Egad! Latest forecast now says 20-26" of snow for DC and area. This is going to be the proverbial end-of-the-world for this area. Good thing it's a weekend. -- lancer

I lived in the DC area for many years and remember the non-stop snow coverage when they expected more than 1 inch. They must be at defcon 1 tonight. Imagine what the grocery stores must be like. Fear and consumption.

They just showed a map on tv and showed the path of the blizzard conditions and we are right in the center of the path.Oh lucky us!
