Let it snow... (2 Viewers)

Sitting at 26+ inches here. The whole region has gotten pounded with some areas, like Frederick, over 30+ inches. Talked to my brother in Jersey and he said southern Jersey got clobbered but his area, Glenridge, got little. It is still snowing here with a couple more inches predicted. Still got power and watching westerns. Stay warm. -- lancer
Finally stopped. Ended up with about 27-28" here in Germantown. All I have to say is my 27 year old son is going to have fun digging out the family truckster Sunday. Now the weather people are saying up to 6" more possible Tuesdayish. This has been some winter here in the DC area. Where is the baseball weather? My furnace (and utility bill) needs a break. Happy Super Sunday to all. -- lancer

Hey,

the drought finally broke on Sunday here too!!!

We got our first rain in 78 days.... 0.2 mm in the rain guage, just enough to dampen down the dust :) :)

Forecasting a cooler day today 31c :) :)

Was that you that posted that it was too hot to paint in Australia a couple of weeks ago?

Could you send a few inches over here (Seattle)? ;) I have been skiing every Sunday for the last few weeks in the Cascasdes and we are dearly in need of fresh snow. I don't even remember when was the last significant snow storm here...I believe our BC friends in Vancouver, a little bit North from I am are having the same request :(

I can't believe this crap. Now they are calling for another 5-10" of snow Tues-Wed., on top of the 28" we just got. I think I will close my drapes and check back sometime in April.:D Should be no drought-water table problems for a while. -- lancer

Well Baltimore Snow Fans, the latest as of 10pm tonight is 14 to 24 more inches of snow. I am moving to Texas, I hate this. Had 2 business trips cancelled already. I am going in to the office tomorrow solely to get out of my house and see something other than a snowblower, shovel and freaking snow.

Well, here we go again. It's snowing heavy again. Now calling for between 12-18". Jingle Bells my ***! Everyone keep warm. -- lancer

Just started here. Expecting 8-12 inches on top of the 17 we got last weekend. Plus 40 mph winds tomorrow to create blizzard conditions. I found "Das Boot" and "The Shining" on DVD so I'm all set. If only the Norwegian babe/nazi zombie movie Dead Snow were out!

Combat,Dead Snow is out.I had it a couple of months ago.I think I would rather face the blizzard than watch that again.Nothing here yet.We are already closed down for tomorrow and possibly Thursday.

P.S.
Those Norwegian babes are worth watching it once.

Well the slop has started here.Heard on radio station today it may snow next Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday. Is there no END!:(

The snow storm is passing through Chicago, although not to bad about 8" to 10" so far.

Looks like it's finally starting here, in NW'ern NJ. Staying home tomorrow. Schools have already packed it in.

I am with you Obee this summer has been a hot and humid affair.I love to see some snow.In Brisbane it doesn't cool down at night and makes sleeping a nightmare. The closest we get to snow is hail with the summer storms and that is something to see.Simmo.

It's raining now but it's a lull in the storm. That's all we need is for the rain to freeze and then snow on top of that.
