Little Legion (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

In the photos on the London Show thread there are pictures of Zulu war buildings made by Little Legion. It's the first i've seen of them. are they new or have they been around forever and I just haven't noticed?

They look pretty good anyway. I wish i'd gone to the show now to have a look at them.

Anyone have them or have closer up photos?

James

Hi James, the Little Legion buildings have just come out, this was their debut. the section showing the chapel has Surgeon Reynolds operating on Pvt. Cole and an orderley treating a wounded 24th sitting on a pew. On the roof a 24th pvt is kicking a Zulu in the stomach and sending him over the edge while Bromhead holds a rifle in one hand while firing his pistol with the other, incidents taken from the film. Believe further additions will follow.

I have been collecting Little Legion for about 5 years now, I have many of the Zulu War figures, I need to get a new display case. The buildings look great. I need to give Paul a call at the Toy Soldier Shoppe to see when he will have the new buildings and figures at his shop. I was at his store last week and he did not have any.

Hopefully, he will have some in September at the OSTN Show.

I'm really impressed with these buildings. Up till this point i was going to go matte with the Britain's Hospital building and figures but now I'm not so sure anymore. These LL buildings would go well to add on to my existing old Britains Rorke's drift dio and glossy figures.

You bet, Eazy!

The Britains hospital diorama piece is nice but the whole RD set is too small! You can only fit a small platoon inside the perimeter. I agree these LL pieces will be great to play with, provided I have extra income:rolleyes: Mike

Lt.
I just thought of something on this dreary holiday morning. The bases, or lack thereof , on the kneeling Little Legion figures. I have never had a kneeling LL fall over, except through massive air-to-ground attack.
They are made perfectly. Mike

I have moved away from WWII and one of my present focuses is LL...Napoleonics. With a little more time I'll try and post some photos.

If it wasn't for Damian's help Mike I be without mine. He's been a great help in advising me from time to time on the availability of various Trophy figures and sets and can't thank him enough for his help.

Here's another LL figure that's joined B Company at The Lt.'s Drift

Thanks Damian for keeping the eyes open. Here's Little Legions excellent representation of the Prine Imperial's final moments in Zululand. His mom Eugenie would love the similarity:D Mike

:eek:....Shock And Horror On The Forum....:eek:

Rob, while I can accept that you might well get back into other era's - I don't, not for one single moment - believe that you shall move away from WWII.

Cheers :):)

Bizzare as it sounds my friend it may well be true.I've waved the flag for K&C for a long time and now maybe its time to look elsewhere.I'm also thinking of taking a break from the forum.(at least the K&C threads)

Been there, done that, except for the break from the forum:p. But now K&C's WWI and Crimean War look so tempting:p
