London December 2012 show pics (1 Viewer)

Here are my 10 favourites pics which shows the great diversity at London show.

I have loaded several others up in the other folders – including 4 videoes (TG FFL, WB AZW Saving The Guns, WB AZW New Releases and Heritage AZW 17th Lancers).

I have also posted c.100+ pics of Canadian Forum – do not want to repost all of them here as it takes way to long.

Excellent pics Gazza, thanks for adding them to the thread.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for posting so many great photos! I will edit mine and post them tomorrow in this thread. I have some photos from the Britains Event the evening prior to the show taht I will post in a Britains area since they arent just show related. It was a super weekend and as usual when you are having fun it went by far too fast! The one thing that killed me was the massive amount of items on display so by the time I was done I had a pretty good headache going so the hobgoblin made that go away! But I still managed to find several gems that I will also share with you guys.

It was really super meeting all the treefroggers there. I hope to make it back to London.

All the best

Dave

Was a pleasure to meet you and have you join us in the pub mate, hope you have a good trip home Dave.

Last photo from me - The Treefroggers on parade.

(From left to right) - Rob, Steve, Andy, Bob, Jeff, Dave, Simon, Richard (and front) Harrie.

The pub was just round the corner and no more than a stones throw from the Centre. No Barmaid, but the beer was a lot better (and more choice) than the Royal National.

Great to see you all guys :salute::

Jeff

Guys,
To me this was the best photo of the show. No so much the beer drinking:smile2: but the mateship that TS collecting can bring. I look forward to catching up with this crew (health permiting) next June and enjoying some great UK fellowship. A shame my good old mate Clive (Grey Goose) was not in the photo but I suppose business before pleasure.^&grin
Enjoy your TS collecting boys as it looked like it was a great Show.
Cheers Howard

Thanks to all that took the time out of thier busy schedule to photograph/upload/photos from the London show, as I have said before, you guys cover this show like no other and do a awesome job, it's one of the reasons why the London show threads are so popular 3 times a year because of the coverage, it's so neat to see some many different makes/models of different toy soldiers, all sizes/shapes/colors!!!! looking forward to seeing it all over again in a few short months...Sammy

It was great meeting you too Dave, glad you enjoyed the beer.

You are right there is a massive amount of TS related stuff on sale and to cover it all would take thousands of photos.

Hope to see you again one day.

Jeff :salute::

Well said that man! {bravo}} One thing a lot of people say is that actually if it was just about buying toy soldiers they could stay at home and order online, but in the last few years the social side of the London shows has grown and grown and is now a big driver for people going to the show.We all look forward to a laugh a chat and a few drinks three times a year very much indeed. Sadly this year we were missing regulars Alan and James but hope they can join us in March. I really hope you can make it in June Howard, because with the addition of your fellow countrymen and our friends from the US to the UK and visitors brigade it will be a great gathering of ' Froggers international ' . :wink2:

Best

Rob

Gazza,
Sorry mate, but he's got you in one
Anyone that can't bring themselves to purchasing a perfectly servicable Huey, well.....:wink2:

Great time meeting up with the guys, as always, especially those who had to trek across great expanses of water, Steve, Harry, Richard, Dave......oh, and Bob too....

I'll chuck up what photos I took. I think that Rob, Jeff, Andy, Gazza and others have already covered it, but there may be a few different angles etc.

Firstly, some of the excellent stuff by David at TM Terrain:
