Delivered to my mailbox this afternoon was 54MASS-08N 4-figure set. To my surprise, inside the box was a Lucky 13 Golden Horseshoe ticket ^&grin . . . . Thanks John for all you do for your customers and fans. Has anybody else found a Lucky 13 golden ticket?

All the best

Well done to the lucky guys who find one of these tickets with their purchases. John really is generous with these give always.
I was lucky enough to get a couple of the Golden tickets when JJD celebrated their 10th Anniversary.

As an upcoming JJD collector, do these tickets come inside the box that actually contains the figures? Just wondering if you have to order directly from JJD to get the tickets or if you get them from any vendor.

Cameron . . . the tickets come in the box that contain the figures you ordered from your vendor of choice or for that matter directly from JJD. The tickets are randomly placed in the boxes at the time they are packaged up.

Thanks so much, Mike! :)

That is so cool you guys!! Well deserved and kudos to JJD for doing this. :smile2:

All this is great but what do the tickets mean? a free figure?

You send the ticket back to JJD with a short list (space provided on the ticket) of what you collect and then John and company sends you a complimentary gift set/gift sets. Its a great way for John to say thanks to those who collect his figures. I sent my ticket back to John this afternoon ($1.15 postage to Hong Kong) indicating that I collect the WWII Bunker Hill series and the ACW 54th Mass Infantry.

this a wonderful idea I wish other makers did the same!

This is the second time John has had golden tickets randomly placed in his offerings. The first time was in 2016 for his company's 10th anniversary. I was lucky enough to find and redeem 4 tickets back then. And remember, this is not the only thing John does in a very generous manner to show his appreciation to his customer base. The annual caption contest and the annual "treasure hunt" at the Chicago show is always very, very rewarding for those who participate. Thanks again John . . .

I received my first golden ticket ever this past week. Very happy to have one will send off this week. I apricate John Jenkins along with all the other T.S makers who keep this hobby going.

Finally convinced myself that I could bare to part with my "Lucky 13 Golden Horseshoe" chit and received a nice model from JJD:

What you see above appears to be a custom version of Jenkins' Roland C.IIa "Walfisch" set.

Happy, happy, happy! :D

That's beautiful, Moe. It does indeed appear to be a one-of custom. The fish-scale finish really is terrific looking. Congratulations. :salute:: -- Al
