I recently got the K&C Vietnam War M48 tank, Mad Dogs/C44 version and I must say I’m quite impressed with it! Excellent paint work and attention to details. I like that it’s also an earlier M48A2 variant so it’s not an exact duplicate of the Collectors Showcase M48A3 tank (though I think the TCS version is better scaled to the K&C figures). Still, K&C did an awesome job on their M48 model and I’m glad I finally added to my K&C Vietnam War Collection 😎

Wow, another home run dio Tman…makes me want to break the Nam guys again

Thank you everyone for all the kind comments and likes on my diorama display with the K&C M48 tank. I really appreciate it and it’s this supportive attitude of so many collectors in this hobby that makes it all worthwhile. We have a good group of people here in the toy soldier hobby 😊

And hats off to Andy and King and Country for making such quality figures and vehicles in their Vietnam War range 😎

Hi Mister T.,
Allow me to add my congrats to all the other Guys on your great looking ‘Vietnam’ display.
This entire series of figures and fighting vehicles is one of the most enjoyable I have ever worked on in all the years of K&C!
Seeing displays and dios such as this one not only confirms it but encourages me to create more.
All the very best,
Andy.

Very well said Tman, that’s what makes this hobby so fun IMO

This is such a cool scene, Tman. You truly make these excellent figures and tank pop with the ground cover and foliage. I esp. like the two pictures from the rear.

Thanks for the very kind compliments, Rob 😃
King and Country’s Vietnam line of figures and vehicles is certainly well done and one of the best and most complete Vietnam War lines available among the different manufacturers… I do like the wide-angle rearward pic you posted above and it’s probably my 2nd favorite of the pics I took; my personal favorite, however, is the wide angle pic of the M48 viewed head on… It just looks big and powerful!

An Awesome display there Tman and I agree that Andy continues to produce some terrific models, and one of the few manufacturers that includes Aussies in the ranges.

I have been a member of this forum since 2005, we sometimes have heated discussions here, however over 95% of the content is positive especially in regards to photos of member displays.

And I hope that more members post their own photos now that it's much easier to do that since the forum has been updated with more tech friendly features.

Looks great. Excellent looking diorama.
Nicely done,,I dont do the viet series but the M48 was similar to the 4th cavalry types the 1st div took to viet,,Near and with them a great deal North on Hwy 13,,im still struggling with the round 1st div ,,I served with the Australian infantry in 3 corps,,

I really like this tank and the G.I.s that you're displaying with it.. I don't buy tanks, but if I did......

Steve
