Matte to Glossy (1 Viewer)

Hi Konrad,

Outstanding! I very much like the action displayed by these figures. Congratulations for a fine addition to your excellent collection!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Thanks Guys!
I'm glad you like the way they look.
Here are some pics of their opponents.
Again, thanks to "builtrite" I could add a 3-piece set to this group recently.

It's been a while that I posted some of my matte to glossy conversions :smile2:
Here are two pics of the latest.
Three Officers of the British Army in India during the Victorian period.
On the left we have a native Officer of the 1st Bombay Lancers, in the middle is a British Officer of the Madras Lancers and on the right is a British Officer of the Ludhiana Sikhs.
Happy Collecting!

Hi Konrad,

The application of your gloss treatment has transformed these fine figures into truly magnificent ones! I continue to be incredibly impressed with the beauty achieved by applying a nice gloss finish to well sculped and painted matte finished figures. You simply transform a fine gem to an even greater jewel!

Excellent work!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Quite agree with the others. They look fantastic with the gloss. I am really impressed with the way the officer came out. The gloss seems to better highlight the details. -- Al

Thank you, Guys :smile2:
Here's another one. This time a converted mounted British Officer to help directing the Thin Red Line.
Cheers!

They do look better glossy then matte. Would be a tough decision to make personally. On the other hand you do great work.

Thanks, Rough Rider :smile2:
One more for this time.
Another converted figures, depicting Sir Colin Campbell, who was in charge of the Thin Red Line.

I really like these matte to glossy figures. I would never have thought to attempt that, but they look fantastic.
Excellent work.

Got a few more figures "shined up" for my Crimean War collection.

Konrad, are the converted figures part of the batch you received from Harry? any idea what the donor figures were?

The colours have a very deep look to them. ^&cool

Hi Jeff,
yes, any and all K&C Crimean War figures I am showing, including a number of conversions, are figures given to me by Harry.
The donor figure for the mtd. Highlander Officer was NA125 Coldstream Guards mounted Officer.
I can't tell you, what the donor figure for Sir Colin Campbell was, but will try to find out.
Cheers!
Konrad
