ME262 - Good Stuff (1 Viewer)

I have an Armour 1/48 scale Me262 and a couple of Armour P-38's that are all die cast and they sit on their trike landing gear just fine, although one of the P-38's will go tail down if the shelf is bumped. I would hope the KC tail sitter is a one of, at that price. -- Al

I've seen the KC Me-262 on display at the Hobby Bunker and that one was not a tail sitter.

And today a friend got it and he said when he pushed the tail to the ground...when he let go, it popped right back on to it's nose wheel.

Those Armor 1/48, Me-262's and P-38's are great.....I'm selling some on eBay right now...

Hi Guys (incl UKSubs),
I removed the step from my display ME 262 and it still stays up. I see IXEC mentioned 2 he knows that were OK.

Brett

Guys,
Received my ME262 today from Brett and it sits beautifully without the stand. It is not a tail sitter.
Andy told you in a previous thread that it was not. Yee of little faith.
Cheers Howard

Congratulations Titus, looks a superb Aircraft to me., and if I didn't have other K&C wants I'd be all over this too:cool:

Excellent news. Is there any problems whatsoever or, is it very sturdy. I have heard slight knocks to shelves or tables its on causes a tilt. Would yours do this???

It may be that a few are problematic but, I am trying to get more info

Maybe Andy just forgot to put the correct amount of weights in the nose of some of the models, haha.

Good News:):)...Glad to hear that this aircraft sits correctly when displayed....

Hello all

Brett replaced my problematic Me.262 with one that does not tilt. Brett did get it to stand without support on a few occassions but on almost every attempt, it would tilt.

The replacement model is, as promised by Andy, not a "tail-sitter".

My initial problem appears unique to just one copy of the Me.262 and not the total production run. It was a one-off problem which is not indicative of the exceptionally high standards we are so used to with K&C products.

This is a beautifully crafted model which I'm very glad to own. I hope others will not be deterred by my initial experience.

Regards

Rob
