This is a special commission Hiriart set that I received in February. It has subsequently been added to the regular Hiriart catalog as set 1363 WORLD WAR II BRITISH 1ST AIRBORNE DIVISION.
The 11th and final new Hiriart set I received in July is a special winter greatcoats version of catalog set 1010 ROYAL MARINE LIGHT INFANTRY, 1898. My set includes two extra men, not shown.
Mike, RMLI in winter greatcoats ..... very coooool! ^&cool ^&cool ^&cool ^&grin

This is a new, Hiriart non-catalog set of TURKISH ARTILLERY, 1912 that I received in July.
Mike,
Hi.
I really appreciate your thread on Hiriart.
Do you think Hiriart would ever make a set of Greek artillery for the Balkan Wars?
Thanks,
MikeNick
Hello Mike,
what can one say? Great stuff as usual, good to see some of the not so well covered military units - that truly is HIRIARTS speciality. Enjoying this thread for quite some time and hope that it will run forever. Thank you again for shareing.
Kind regards
Wolfgang
:salute::
Another February addition to my collect is Hiriart set 1344 WWII EIGHTH ARMY, NORTH AFRICA, W/MONTGOMERY. By using a basic charging casting with three different heads, they represent British, Australian, and Indian Eighth Army troops.
Hi Wolfgang,
Thanks. One of the main reasons that Bob Walker and I both like and collect Hiriart is that, just as you noted, they make less well covered military units. They also specialize in sets inspired by old Britains. I too hope that this thread can run forever, but since I am mortal and will be 73-years-old next year, that isn't likely to happen, however I am glad to share for as long as I can.
Mike
Man this company covers some really interesting eras and units! Talk about obscure but I love the detail and of course the glossy paint! Thanks for sharing them Mike.
