STAR TREK WARS: WHO SHOT FIRST--SHATNER OR TAKEI ?---the new Paramount Pictures movie will finally settle the long-running controversy about who shot first in the bitter feud between STAR TREK stars William Shatner and George Takei. The co-writers are George Lucas, Rick Berman, Alex Kurtzman , Damon Lindelof and Roberto Orci.
STAR WARS: THE HATEFUL EIGHT---George Lucas is the host of this Lucasfilm/Disney+ competition tv series which will have eight hated STAR WARS characters battle each other in outer space to determine who is the most-hated STAR WARS character in the galaxy. The contestants are Jar Jar Binks, Boss Nass, Watto, Nute Gunray, Salacious Crumb, Sy Snootles, Joh Yowza and Kathleen Kennedy.
FIVE WEEKS IN A BALLOON---Jackie Chan will star in this remake of the 1962 Irwin Allen movie that starred Red Buttons, Barbara Eden, Cedric Hardwicke and Fabian. Chan will play a Chinese air force colonel who piloted his spy balloon for five weeks over the US gathering intelligence on top secret US military bases until the President of the United States finally ordered the balloon shot down. After bailing out, the colonel was captured by US forces and then traded back to China for a lesbian WNBA basketball player who was arrested in China on drug charges.
COCAINE BARE---Sony Pictures movie underway based on the best-selling book LAPTOP FROM HELL: HUNTER BIDEN, BIG TECH AND THE DIRTY SECRETS THE PRESIDENT TRIED TO HIDE which is about Hunter Biden's laptop which contains videos and emails showing him in the nude cavorting with prostitutes, snorting cocaine and complaining about having to pay 10% of his millions of dollars in bribes from China, Russia and Ukraine to "The Big Guy".
1923 & ALIENS---Harrison Ford returns for the latest Taylor Sheridan/Paramount+ YELLOWSTONE spinoff series in which 1923's Jacob Dutton, the grandson of COWBOYS & ALIENS cattle baron Col. Woodrow Dolarhyde, battles intergalactic aliens that threatened his grandfather in 1873 and now return to Earth to threaten his family in 1923.
ALIEN: IMMIGRATION---Noah Hawley confirmed the plot of the FX ALIEN tv series set on Earth will have millions of Aliens entering the US on the Texas/Mexico border where they are bused to Chicago and other big cities. In Chicago, the monstrous Aliens enter a house and stalk the terrified family members one by one.
CUSTER---Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan will reunite for this movie about Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer, "Custer's Last Stand" and Custer's whistleblower role in the Trading Post Scandal involving Secretary of War William Belknap, his ex-wives and President Ulysses S. Grant's brother, Orvil. Custer's Congressional testimony about the scandal made him a national figure and possibly a candidate to run against Grant for the President of the United States. Bale will play Custer, Kenneth Brannagh will play President Grant, Michael Caine will play Belknap, Marion Cotillard will play Carita Belknap, Anne Hathaway will play Amanda Belknap, Gary Oldman will play Orvil Grant, Cillian Murphy will play Maj. Marcus Reno, Tom Hardy will play Capt. Frederick Benteen and Ken Watanabe will play Sitting Bull.
THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI---Geoffrey Horne, who co-starred in the Academy Award-winning World War II POW movie, criticized the British government's Prevent counter-terrorism program labeling the movie as promoting "white nationalists/supremacists". Program claimed the movie emphasized that white British POWs proved their racist intellectual and physical superiority over their Japanese captors by building a bridge that was far superior to the Japanese-designed bridge. Prevent added that militant white Allied commandos humiliated the Japanese again by blowing the bridge up on its completion while a Japanese troop train crossed it which exaggerated how incompetent the Japanese were in building the original bridge and defending the new bridge from sabotage.
SLAP SHOT---Will Smith and Chris Rock will star in the remake of the 1977 comedy hockey movie that starred Paul Newman and Michael Ontkean. The movie has already been nominated for an Academy Award.
