no...never hear it and would of bet money it wasn't a Bob Dylan song...and I would of lost...lol...

when you said "many think it's about horses"...this came to mind...simple but I have always likes it...

I have described some friends I have as a "one trick pony"....teasingly of course...

The whole album was a big FU by Dylan, hoping people would leave him alone. Of course it did well in sales.
 
Most of the songs that Dylan played on his first album were covers but he did write two songs. Song for Woody is a great song, based on Woody’s 1913 Massacre.
