I thought I'd post some photos of my favorite of Gordon's Dioramas in my collection, a Desert Castle he made for the Chicago Show around 10 years ago, when K&C launched the Crusade series. The siege tower to the right side of the diorama was the hand made wood prototype for the polystone production model on the left of the diorama.

Louis...that is a really nice structure and display...I'm very jealous!...........^&grin

Michael and Harry, thank you! Gordon's work was almost as good as Gordon was. He was a good friend, and I am lucky enough to have 17 of his dioramas in various sizes.

Could have used some advise from Gordon on my slow build-up using these great figurines.

Definitely one of Gordon’s finest!
I know he was very proud to be in the centre of Louis’ superb collection...Many thanks for featuring this and all the very best in these troubled times,
Andy.

Andy,

My visits with you and Gordon in Chicago and especially at my home in New York will always be some of my favorite memories. It was my honor and pleasure to make Gordon's dioramas, along with King & Country soldiers, vehicles, aircraft and buildings, the centerpieces of my collection. Every time I go upstairs and walk among Gordon's works of art, I remember you those times and smile.

That’s beautiful Louis,Gordon’s work was so awesome. So cool to have it in your collection.Thank you for sharing the pics👍

WOW, 17 dioramas made by Gordon, that must be a very impressive collection you have Louis.

nothing more true, the stunning works of Gordon have always been of inspiration for my modest dios

When you hosted that great lunch for us collectors a couple of years ago, I remember spending a lot of time looking at this one in particular. Of the several spectacular Gordon dios you have, this one was my favorite. Pictures or even video doesn't do this one justice-it has to be seen to be fully appreciated as do all his dioramas. Will be interesting to see what detailing changes he will have made to heaven when we all get up there..........:salute::
