My JJD Wars of the Roses Display (1 Viewer)

Mike...
these are beautiful...
you have amassed quite a grouping very quickly...
your photography skills really show them off well to!

Thanks Mike . . . . Trying to catch up on a range that is over two years old has been a challenge to me indeed . . . . Just about caught up now and my spending frenzy on WoR should start to taper off to just the current releases I want to collect.

Thank you very much Ivanhoe . . . . I've concentrated most of my collecting effort on WoR for the past several months at the expense of the other ranges I collect, especially ACW . . . . John keeps putting out so much each month that its become a real challenge to stay current.

This morning I received my prizes for my 6th and 7th Golden Tickets . . . . . Great additions to my Wars of the Roses collection . . . . .

Congrats! My special Golden Card gift for WOR is on the way. Yes, John is on to something with these promotions. Customer loyalty is very important these days and goes a long way! Still, this is my favorite series to collect these days. Can't wait for more mounted knights to make their appearance! Medieval artillery too!

Thank you very much . . . . . I totally agree with your observations . . . . . This is the greatest promotion that I have ever seen and have had the pleasure of being a part of. WoR is a favorite range of mine also and I am looking forward to more mounted knights and casualties. Currently my favorite series is the Great War sub range Wheels Across the Desert . . . .

Terrific range, John is doing a Stirling job with these. The sculpts are supberb and so colourful. Can see why people collect these. Robin.

You are absolutely correct Robin . . . . This range drew me in from WWI, ACW, Vikings, and FIW which I also collect . . . . .

Nothing like getting TF gift certificates for Father's Day . . . These two knights arrived at my door step this afternoon as a result . . . . .

The Wars of the Roses range has certainly become very prolific in the number of figure sets now being offered. With the latest London show sneak previews and the noticeable numbering gaps between the existing sets, we can expect more and more of these lovely sets in the many months to come. The trouble is that I am quickly running out of shelf space to display my collection. Last evening I spent some time rearranging my display shelves . . . . move over WWI {eek3}. After rearranging, my WoR collection has gone from one very packed 3-foot shelf to two 3-foot shelves and one 2-foot shelf, divided up to display all of my Yorkist and Lancastrians, each having their own 3-foot shelf, and Richard III and Henry Tudor meeting on the field of battle on the 2-foot shelf.

Mike, allow me to wish upon you many such additions and rearrangements in the months and years to come!:D

Happy belated Father's day Mike...you trained your kids right...they know exactly what to get you every year!

Received mine yesterday...Really like the figures.

Once I put the plume and Banner on RTLANC-02, I realized how similar the figure's pose (without the Banner) is to a number of W. Britain's "Deetail" knights.

It also appears that when he swings his Mace from that position, he will strike his Banner pole !
