Spectacular collection, Mike. Naval Air just keeps getting better and bigger. -- Al
Very cool

These look great Mike. You have a nice set up there. John's aircraft crew figures are very attractive and you made good use of them in your scenes.

MIKE ...{sm3} ... My heart is pounding right out of my chest. Even in the prototype stage that is a gorgeous plane!
You have quite the display going there my friend. I am very glad that you were the recipient of John's incredible generosity. There could be no one else who deserves it as much as you .... congrats!
My decks will be here (hopefully) .. when the next JJD batch is released, I believe later this month.
Until then I will have to stare longingly at your set up.. super nice, Mike!
PS: Do you have "6" JJD deck sections?

Now you have the 'Master' Mike, how does John make one for me? One lucky collector and I can see it's gone to a good home. Robin.
That is one fantastic plane, Mike.
Just imagine ... :rolleyes2: ... a 'TWO LEVEL' diorama with your Bunker Hill decks on the top level with a couple of Corsairs revving engines and the crew scurrying around; the carrier deck elevator is bringing another Corsair up to the flight deck level and you have two or three more Corsairs in the hanger deck with folded wings.
Its June 19th 1944 and the Bunker Hill turns into the wind ready to launch a for the upcoming Battle of the Philippine Sea ... !!! ^&grin
Then add all the crew working to get the planes ready below decks ...
Yep, I can spend your money real easy .... but it would be breathtaking wouldn't it ...

That Corsair looks awesome Mike. What a cool piece to have in your collection.
Here are a couple of pics with the Corsair's wings folded up . . .

Hi Mike
Congrat's on winning the Corsair prototype, it looks great and the production versions will look awesome when released. Just a question but are you going to paint and apply decals yourself or get it professional painted with decals?
Tom
As far as the prototype goes, I think I am going to leave it just as it is . . .
:smile2: Mike
In my opinion, only, that is the best decision. ^&grin
* Unpainted, it is a one-of-a-kind and much more desirable.
* You could probably never get it to match any other of John's paints, even it was professionally done.
* It has an appeal that a painted version would lack.
But just my 2 cents worth.
