My King & Country Acquisitions Blitz (3 Viewers)

Still amazes me the depth of your collection and the on going acquisitions. Robin.

IWJ024 Chi-Ha is a great pickup.

Certainly an item on my wish list

Fantastic collection. Did you get any of the STUG IV? WS-047 or WS-069? I could not find them in your pictures. I am selling my WS-047, and would love to have go to good home. :)

I did pick up the WS47 Stug IV, but didn't photograph it with a group of acquisitions; I just added it to a display shelf. Likewise with a DD030 M7 Priest that I picked up at the same time. Here they are.

Here are a few more acquisitions that I picked up in the past two weeks including a Jagdtiger and a Jackson Tank Destroyer, both of which were on my "wish List." I think I can see light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Mike,

Great collection your blitz is creating.....Congrats on the library also...we share many of the titles I could spot in the background! Fantastic sources of information and history, not to say a pleasure to read on any spare time....
Cheers

Thanks, A.C. Both are a source of great pleasure to me. Mike

Mike,

At this point you should get some kind of reward from Andy, for the fastest K&C blitz in history!! :)

I have no way in knowing if that is true or not, but I do like the idea! However, I am not going to hold my breath. Maybe he would give consideration to a couple of suggested future Wheels and Tracks sets that I will be submitting in the near future (e.g., the Skoda LT vz 35 light tank serving in Axis armies on the Eastern Front or the ubiquitous Soviet T-26 tank or the Italian CV-33 tankette).

Here is a view of my new (second) toy soldier room which I needed primarily to display all my newly acquired King & Country sets. I have 111 Wheels & Tracks sets on display in this room plus numerous other K&C infantry, artillery, landing craft, etc. sets. In my original, long time, toy soldier room I have an additional 11 Wheels & Tracks sets on display on one curio glass shelf.

I have slowed down the acquisition blitz considerably, but still continue to pick up more K&C sets. I have three additional Wheels & Tracks sets that have been shipped which should be showing up at any time now. However, I am not sure where I can display them, but I guess that this is a good problem to have

In addition to the King & Country sets, I also have, to a lesser extent, sets from John Jenkins, First Legion, and Hiriart on display plus about half of my Philippine mahogany World War II warbirds.

I have three white Tiger tanks that are very rare. Perhaps we could discuss a swap.

Mike as I've said many times you have an amazing collection. Thank you again for sharing.

Thank you for your kind words. I am more than happy to share with you and others as I know how much I enjoy seeing other collectors collections either here on the forum or in person. Mike
