Hi Roy.
What an amazing collection you have!
I love seeing how different collectors' display their collections....bravo!

Pete

Superb! The long street is a very appropriate setting, and the buildings work well. That rubble filled pothole in the road is a gem. Well done. :salute::

An amazing display. All the Renaults look fantastic in their park. -- Al

Roy, that is one great looking shelf! The scenics are beautful, and every one of the poilus is like a little work of fine art.

This was a great series that John did and you have done it well Roy. I am not a big fan of WW1, but I could not resist these either. Very happy to have them and your display confirms why I succumbed.:salute::, Robin.

Roy...this looks fantastic...everything on that shelf really works together...a very interesting display...

Wow, great line up of armour! I like the building facades as well.

Wow! Thank you everyone so very much for all your very kind comments - I'm very chuffed!

I thought it was a terrific idea of John's to issue five individual types of the FT. Different serial numbers, different turret types, option of open and closed hatches on some, Crew men....... Loads of options!
Smashing compact little models - love them!

The French Poilu series has been outstanding. I hope John returns to them at a later date.........?

Cheers all,

Roy

Brilliant stuff Roy they all look superb all together and well set up mate.

What a superb scene and brilliant way to display a fine collection. Marvellous.

I always liked these French soldiers, but didn't buy them because I was trying not to spend money. Well, after seeing Old Bill's display, I broke down and bought the sets of the soldiers pushing the cannon and love them! Now I'm eyeing to purchase all the French marching soldiers. Exactly what I was afraid of. I might have to skip meals like Lancer (Al). {sm4} I also bought EMM's Tommy's War charging lancer. A little dark with the paint, but excellent action sculpt.

The Poilus are fantastic figures. Fortunately, I ate enough in my younger days that I can live of my fat when I skip meals these days.:wink2:^&grin -- Al

John Jenkins produces the best detailed WW1 French soldiers I have seen for a long time...now that they came out with this great 75^&grin^&grin even more great stuff is available to us collectors.....Now to make things perfect they should provide not only a garrison pulling the gun but also one manning the gun in action.....that would be a baster of great set...
Cheers
