N.f.l. 2012 (7 Viewers)

I now it's early in the game, but the Skins lead 17-0. The Giants are being totally outplayed, despite having gotten two INT's, and are flatter than my mother's pancakes. -- Al

No offense to Al, but there is reallly no excuse for this. If they lose (likely), those losses to the Skins and Seattle will come back to haunt them.

Big win for the Skins, bigger loss for the Giants. Giants were never in the game, hard to fathom being so flat for such an important game, but it happens all the time. On the wider view, the Colts have won and the Packers have lost. What a day it's been so far! -- Al

Wow, upsets everywhere today.

Bye bye perfect regular season Green Bay.

Bye bye winless season Colts.

Bye bye playoffs Bears.

Giants vs Jets is going to mean something now next weekend; if the Giants lose, bye bye division title if Dallas wins next weekend.

strange week...

Green Bay has their first loss...
Indianoplis has their first win...
Houston top rated defense shredded for 166 on the ground...
Giants laid an egg in a clutch game against 4-9 Skins...

I guess Tebow has a chance today...

Just great. Now, the dirty birdies think they have something to play for. Thanks Giants :(

Bears, man, what a bummer.

Tebow strikes! What a run. -- Al
Track meet so far. NE can't stop the run, so far. Could be a lot of points coming. Bad day for NY, so far. Giants eat it and now the Eagles are slicing and dicing the Jets, none of which I would have bet on. Won't even mention Buffalo. -- Al

Looks like someone spiked the water in Jersey and the Jets and Giants drank it. Who would have thought it would be this terrible. Can't even watch it anymore {eek3}

Don't give up yet. Jets showing life and have scored the last 13 points. -- Al

Pats seem to have righted themselves and are putting points on the board, which is good if their defense is going to keep allowing 9 yards per rush to Denver. Fun game to watch to this point. -- Al

So far everything I was afraid would happen today happened. The Giants came out totally flat, dropped key passes, made stupid penalties, and lost ugly. As a result, the Eagles, who still had life, dominated the Jets.

Looks like I was correct about Tebow vs. Brady. The Patriots just got a first and goal at the Denver 1 yard line. Game over.

Forget what I said.:rolleyes2: It has been quite a day for the NFL. Can't believe the Raiders choked their game by allowing the Lion's to drive 98 yards for the winning score and the Cards game back for an OT win. Lot of interesting games with surprising endings. -- Al

The game turned when Holmes made that fumble in the first quarter and definitely turned when the Jets had a chance to tie the game or at least get a FG when it was 7-0.

The only good news is that they're still the second Wild Card.

Should make for an interesting game next week against the Giants.

Time to pick in the game where they play for pay.

Picked the Broncos game last night. Take Broncos with the points, not for the win mind you.

Giants are 2.5 point favorite. I really don't like the Giants in this game, just a queasy feeling. Skins have generally played well in last two games. Take the Skins.

49ers vs Dubel-ites, better known as the Steelers ^&grin, who are a 2.5 point underdog. I think the bloom is off the rose in SF and Steelers might be mad because of the Harrison suspension. I like Steelers big in this game. Take the Steelers with the points.

Jets Eagles. This one is hard. If Cowboys and Giants win, the little birdies are done. If not, they have a remote, very remote chance to win the division. Jets have never beaten the Eagles. On the other hand, the Eagles are bad against the run so Jets will run, run, which is what they want to do. Very nervous about this game. In the end, this is a pick em. Could go either way. If Eagles are still alive in the race at game time, go with the Eagles, if not, the Jets.

So far, sadly, I'm 2-1. We'll see about tomorrow tonight...tomorrow :D

Well thanks to all of you who proved me wrong about the Broncos and Tebow, as Louis said the Patriots just shredded them offensively, they took away Gronkowski so the other tight end Hernandez just murdered the Broncos, plus we ran the ball pretty well too.

Tebow looked good at times, terrible at other times, average at best in the end, great win by the Patriots who are battling for the #1 seed in the AFC and today wrapped up the division for the 9th time in the last 11 years, one of those years they did not win the division was when Brady's season ended on the first series in the first game vs the Chefs and the cheap shot Pollard threw blowing out Brady's knee...............

One thing i can say is Eli Manning is not Tom Brady
Far from it
Any kind of defence Brady and the boys would go all the way
