N.F.L. 21-22 Season (10 Viewers)

Henry is done for the season with TN. And that means TN is done. Injuries are killers in the NFL. How about those Lions? Down 41-6 in the 4th quarter, they go for two! Never say quit even when you should. Of course they failed to convert. I would love to see the coaches sheet that explains what to do when you are down 41 points. Resign is apparently not an option.

surprised that replacement for Dak Prescott...
Cooper Rush...
snuck out with a win in Minnesota...
originally marked a winner on my early calendar...
then changed to a loser as Dak was scratched...
Cooper did enough to win...
combined with the Astros winning last night...
it was a good night...

The Rams are trading for Von Miller, got him for two second day draft picks.

Him on the outside, Donald on the inside..........holy smokes, good for them.

Have to respect the Rams, they go for it every year with blockbuster trades.

Best of luck to Brady, he looked every bit the age of 44 at the end of that game yesterday..................

Man is the NFC loaded.

Current Rams’ 2022 draft picks:Round 1: Traded to LionsRound 2: Traded to BroncosRound 3: Traded to Broncos, still own a compensatory pick (via Brad Holmes hire)Round 4: Traded to TexansRound 5: OwnRound 6: Traded to PatriotsRound 7: Own & Dolphins’ pick

It's Super Bowl or bust for the Rams needless to say.........and Miller is a free agent at the end of the year...............

The major LA teams (Rams, Dodgers, and Lakers) are all in "win now" mode having traded away most of their future draft picks and prospects for older players. It almost worked for the Dodgers. They won over 100 games. Remains to be seen how it works out for the Lakers and Rams. The Rams D is definitely not very deep or as good as it was last year. They had to make a big move to stop the Cards offense. AZ embarrassed them a few weeks ago.

Henry is out for the year with a broken foot.

Wow.

The Titans have signed Adrian Peterson.

Is this 2011 or 2021?

My thoughts on the Rams and the NFL Draft:

”….and the Rams are on the clock with just 3,679,200 minutes (7 years) before their 1st round pick is due……”

they are the true definition of "all in".........Super Bowl or bust.

Yeah, I dunno-Im glad we got the win but I think the Vikings did all they could to lose the game. Still, it shows the light year difference in Dallas's defense between last year and this year. The Vikings march down the field and score a TD on the opening drive and then manage 3 field goals the rest of the game. Dan Quinn is the man. It's like the one announcer said during the game "I dont know what this says for Dallas but it says everything when Minnesota loses to a backup QB in their own stadium who hasn't taken a snap since 2017 and is thrown in as a starter an hour before kickoff".

Chris...yea...a win is a win...especially with a back up QB on the road...The Dallas defense is definitely better this year...but I still think the Cowboy’s pass defense is suspect...a good QB can shred their secondary...Diggs with 7 INT’s in 7 games coupled with Micah Parson’s team leading tackles and Randy Gregory’s QB pressures has really helped...in past years...with no defense...the Cowboys have had to out score their opponents to win...Demarcus Lawrence should be returning in a couple of weeks...that should really help the pass rush and secondary pass defense when he returns...they can’t double team both Lawrence and Gregory...

Aaron Rodgers has tested positive and is out for Sundays game vs the Chefs.

Great.

I had that as a sure GB win and a big help for the Patriots playoff chances.

Apparently, he lied about being vaccinated/used some mumbo jumbo terminology about how he's "immunized"....................

What a dumb ***.

The cool thing about Micah Parsons is that he is a Harrisburg Pa native. He went to Harrisburg High, my son goes to Bishop McDevitt high school- HUGE rivals!!! Harrisburg is currently ranked #1 in the area and McD is #2. Harrisburg is #11 in the State and McD is #30. We were supposed to play about 5 weeks or so ago but we had a COVID case on the football team and the game was cancelled. God I'd give anything to see that one both teams are OUTSTANDING. Supposedly the Harrisburg coach called our coach and said they'd be happy to reschedule but our coach backed out- who knows- these sports reporters around here might just be trying to goad these guys into playing.

Anyway, he's a great story. Im thrilled to death he's in Big D. He was a monster in high school.

Chris...
cool story...he was also a stud at Penn State...that mid 4.3's speed make him hard to contain...
On Parsons being drafted...I was disappointed as I wanted a CB...then both Jaycee Horn and Patrick Surtain went right before Dallas had their pick...but in my opinion it turned out better with Parsons...he has turned out the most productive of the 3 by far...he has really improved their run defense with 40+ tackles and 2 1/2 sacks this year...last year the Cowboys gave up 159 rushing yards per game...this year it's down to 88 yards per game...that is a huge difference...so drafting Parsons and dumping Jaylon Smith looks like the right move...Quinn also speaks very well of him as being a highly motivated player that wants to learn and improve...Odighizuwa looks good too...he's been a good surprise...I was hoping Lawrence would be back by now...but it looks like a week or two more...him and Gregory could produce an intimidating pass rush...which should really help their porous secondary...QB's don't throw so accurately when they are getting hurried, hit and sacked...

Rest in Peace Baltimore Colts Tom Matte.😥 He was a little before my time but have read and watched Tom in his days with Baltimore, A great man on and off the field. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yeah, I agree. I was shaking my head- how could Dallas go through 2020 and NOT have a CB as the #1 pick. Their secondary just got shredded last season. Still, things are looking fine right now and just goes to show I dont know as much as I hoped I did lol.

And I am going to miss Jaylon Smith. He hit like a Mack truck- him and Van der Esch were awesome. Hopefully Parsons holds up better than Lee did.

One of my great heroes from those great Colt teams of the 60's. Did what ever was asked of him on the field and was a true 'working man' football player. RIP, Tom. -- Al

The Henry Ruggs story is outrageous. Driving drunk at 156 MPH and killing a woman. That behavior is so reckless as to constitute murder. Hopefully he spends many years in jail.

156MPH on the autobahn would be reckless; on THAT street? There are a **** ton of red lights along the way......................I've read the details of the accident, wish I hadn't, I wouldn't wish that death on my worst enemy, just horrific. I've been rear ended three times thanks to reckless *********, but none of them were going 156MPH and drunk.

I'm amazed him and his girlfriend survived the impact.

My heart goes out to that poor woman, her family and also her dog, just a terrible, terrible thing.

It's stories like this that just drive home my mantra of always telling those I care about I love them as we say goodbye as you never know when God decides he needs another angel.

I'm presently in the middle of a nonsensical ****show with my youngest sister, we haven't spoken in 6 months.............should anything happen to either one of us, the other has to live with the guilt of not speaking over foolishness.

I've tried to mend fences, but she's not having it.

Well, then tough ****, can't say I didn't try.

Chris...
did you know that Green Bay picked up Jaylon and cut him after 2 weeks?
there is really a lot of good news on injuries of regular starters on the horizon...
Gallop will be returning very soon...maybe next week...
along with Demarcus Lawrence...maybe 1 or 2 more weeks...
La'el Collins is back this week...
of course Dak says he will play this week...
so hopefully 1 or 2 weeks...all these starters will be back...
I'm hoping with Lawrence and Gregory on both ends of the pass rush...
it will create some havoc in the pocket to disrupt the opposing QB's rhythm...
the Dallas secondary has issues and a strong pass rush could really help them look better...
