N.F.L. 21-22 Season (3 Viewers)

Maybe I should look into it.......and cut the cord on cable.

you don't have to sever the cord completely with cable...maybe just cut one of your Premium channels...like HBO...TMC...Showtime...if you subscribe to any...they are usually around $9.95 to $14.95 a month...replace it with Amazon Prime for a few months...they have tons of movies for free...lots of Amazon exclusive series too...lots of good old and new stuff...

also free shipping on anything from Prime that's not a third party seller like Brad said...

Direct tv's premium channels are showing the same old movies over and over and over...very few new series...Hollywood is finally recovering from Covid and starting to make movies again...I see ads for a lot of new movies coming soon "in theaters only"...

I bounce around watching HBO for a few months...then cancel that and replace it with Showtime for a few months...then cancel that and replace it with Starz...etc...then when I swap to a new premium channel...I can catch up on everything I missed on that channel using Direct tv's On Demand...

Got to ask a stupid question...I have Amazon Prime, so the only way to watch tomorrow's game is on my phone or a computer??

Sammy...
yes...they purchased exclusive rights...
the NFL has found a new way to print money...or take our money......
selling exclusive viewing rights to highest bidders of streaming services companies...
both Peacock...NFL+...and Amazon Prime have already purchased a few games...
can't watch them unless you subscribe...
Thursdays and Saturdays only I think...but may be wrong on that...

***??...so we all go out and buy big screen TV's, get surround sound and all the fixings, and now I get to watch the game on a 6 inch smart phone...phone might be smart so I must be the dumb one.

Sammy...
yea...it sucks...
I have the NFL Sunday ticket free this year again from Direct TV...
they had a promo offering it free to new subscribers...

I raised hell with their retention center...
telling them I have been a customer for 17 years and you won't give it to me free...
really?...it's only free to new subscribers...
they finally caved and gave it to me free...

smart phones are the wave of the future...
I wouldn't even enjoy watching a football game on a tiny phone...
like you...I wanna see it on my big screen...

tell 6 of your friends...
"yea...come over my house and we can watch it streaming on my phone"...

I can just see a half dozen people trying to watch a game on one shared phone...
what a joke...

it's only gonna get worse next year...

The NFL can stick it's streaming service crap. I never remember the Thursday night games anyway, so no loss. The problem will come when they do the same to the Sunday games, which I have no doubt is coming as soon as the NFL can figure a way to screw their fans without causing a major revolt. -- Al

I'm amazed how many people watch movies, sports on a tiny **** cell phone and find it awesome 🤔🤔 what am I missing??

They don't make enough money between the TV deals, the merchandise they sell, 60.00 to park at the stadium, 12.00 cup of foam, 16.00 cheeseburgers, 17 regular season games and 3 preseason games they stick the season ticket holders for, so now they sell the rights to Thursday night football and you have to pay to watch it.

No thanks.

As long as fans keep paying the owners/players will keep charging for it.

Last season the Fins in Miami beat the sheet out of my Ravens on a Thursday night game, hoping some home cooking and a little revenge game will be a better showing then last year.

I never thought that a week 2 game against the Seahawks had the potential to define the Niner’s 2022 season but here we are.

My son tells me that many fans (including him) are calling for benching Lance and starting Jimmy G. The weather forecast looks similar to last week’s Chicago weather. A NFL QB has to be able to play in all kinds of weather.

Methinks the Ravens need work on the defensive side of the ball.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Wow...just wow...I'm at work today and grabbed a score check late and Ravens are up 35-14, no need to check any further...co worker teases me later about the Fins, I'm like it was a blow out, only to find out Dolphins win...I have some nut punches but this one is going to hurt for awhile.

On the other hand, just to prove the God of Sports plays no favorites, the O's scored 3 in the 9th to win and stay in the race. -- Al

well alright alright alright...like Matthew McConaughey says...
the Cowboys won't go 0-17 this year...

well, be careful what you wish for...you just might get it...

I was in Romania for a couple of weeks and just caught up. DVR is great. Can watch an entire game in about an hour. My Rams got pushed around by the Bills. Stafford doesn't look healthy and not playing the starters in the preseason made them look rusty. Five INTs in the first two games, but it is a long, long season.

Got to ask....what the Hell is the issue with coaches going for the first down instead of taking the three point field ??? goal??? It seems it has become the norm to " go for it" these days, then comes back to bite the *** of the coach later in the game.
