N.F.L. 24-25 Season (3 Viewers)

The way the Rams finished strong last year, I was cautiously optimistic about this season. Wrong. There are a lot games left to be played but so far, so bad. The injuries are unreal. The offensive line and now Kupp and Puka are injured. Donald retired but the Rams are still paying him $24 million under the cap. Those long term contracts are killers. Particularly in football where guys get injured and rarely have more than a couple great seasons.

The Iggles lost last night?

Really?

I shut it off when they had the ball with around three minutes left, figured it was a wrap.

Enjoy that 2017 Super Bowl win Iggles fans............................

Blame Saquon. If he catches that pass, the game is over.

Really glad the Patriots stink as my NFL interest is at an all time low.

Watched bits and pieces of games via the red zone..........overall, it's a really ****ty product.

Namely ,Offensive Lines are terrible, plus there are many young QB's playing who simply are not ready, throw in hardly any preseason practicing in full pads or worse yet, 3 half assed games where starters don't play and it's a recipe for a **** product.

Were it not for gambling, the league would be a farce.

Not to mention the Chefs; the team I hate with the fire of 10,000 suns, 3-0 when they could just as easily be 0-3, Kelce looks washed yet they keep managing to pull games out of their collective asses.

Might as well just hand them the trophy now and get it over with.

Kelce spent too much of off season with Taylor and is drinking his own kool aid I always thought he was an ahole to begin with and still remember James Harrison taking his head off his rookie year. He abused him. It should have been a crime!

How can you spend too much time with your girlfriend. That’s a bit of a head scratcher. He’s enjoying life. Nothing wrong with that.

Tom:

Agreed.

Like it or not being an NFL player is a job.

If your off the field choices influence your work performance you should be called out on that.

The same thing goes for people who work in an office, a factory or in sales etc.

I can't recall ever being less excited about an NFL season than this year. Maybe because the Rams are terrible or I watch too much college football on Saturday and get burned out. I refuse to pay for games so get stuck watching the Eagles or Steelers on the local networks. Neither of whom I give a whit.

I'm in the same boat; Patriots stink on ice, college football at this stage is much more enjoyable, not to mention the level of play in the NFL this year is putrid, low scoring, flags flying every two seconds, there are not enough quality starting QB's to being with, now some teams are on to their back up, or worse yet, bringing guys in off the street.

It's really a ****ty product.

I feel the same and in theory the Niners are still a legit Super Bowl contender.

The game in my view has gotten bland and even with every rule favoring offense teams can’t score.

The constant barrage of fantasy and gambling stats makes me slowly tune out then I change the channel and move on.

The product sucks, but the league will still make loads of money thanks for gambling/fantasy football.

The fix was in on the USC Minnesota game. No doubt about it.

I hate to say it but the Deadskins seem to have turned a corner. They are playing great. Getting rid of Danny Boy was a huge step.

After a 2-3 start including a loss in London to old friend Sam Darnold, the Jets have fired Saleh.

If I'm the 49ers, I get on the phone and rehire him as their defensive coordinator.

As bad/terrible/worst team in the NFL as the Patriots are, the Jets truly are the gift that keeps on giving.

Just a sad sack franchise.

Someone floated the idea of Belichick going there; why?

He's having a ball in his new multiple media roles, why would he want to go to New York and coach the Jets?

If he does, best of luck to him.

In all honesty, it would be all sorts of awesome; he goes back to the team that he resigned from to coach the Patriots and wins a Super Bowl?

That would go up Kraft's ass sideways.

I'd be ok with that, I'm not a fan of his, he's a ****ty owner, got lucky with Brady and Belichick, the team is one again a laughing stock of the NFL, by far the worst team in the league.

Way to go Robert.

The Jets may be the most disappointing sports franchise in the last two decades. They even surpass the Deadskins and Knicks. Players and coaches go there to end their careers. I think Belicheat comes back to coaching to get the record for most wins but it's not with the Jets who he burned many years ago jumping to the Pats. Even the Jets must know better than that.

Last two decades? They haven't been to the Super Bowl in 55 years, only the Lions have a longer drought than the Jets.

The Browns don't count; they moved to Baltimore and won 2 Super Bowls.

George:

Not only is Belichick having having a ball in his media role, he is also really good at it.

He is much better than Brady or Gronk.

Jason made my point in a later post, NFL for what you get paid is a full time and then some job. Greatest thing IMO is it is about performance. Kelce may not care any more as he has made a lot of money, his brother retired, and Taylor, maybe no more motivation. That said, IMO, he came in out of playing shape, he looked like an aging gasbag the first 4 games. The rust was really unusual when you compare it to last year.

Now, I am no fan, never have been which is why I referenced Harrison. I always thought the other Kelce had a lot of class, this one has always been way different. I really didn't like his lack of control on the sideline when in front of Coach Reid last year. End of day, the coach is the boss and deserves respect, especially Andy Reid. Kelce always has that I am above everyone attitude, just not likeable. And I am not even getting into the self righteous Taylor Swift. Everyone on here knows I love music, I respect her ability, but her music is just not appealing to me and I listen to EVERYTHING from heavy metal to classical music. Hers is one of the few I can't stand. To each his own of course, but all I can say, in my book, they are the perfect couple and should go off to dreamland and enjoy the glass house.

Compare him to Patrick Mahomes, love him or hate him b/c of his ability, but I do believe he is a first-class act and I have a lot of respect for him considering his brother and father are no-gooders. In other words, he is just a good human being despite some of the influences he grew up with. That is aces in my book.
