N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (3 Viewers)

We've been through this 4,781 times; very few of these guys are angels/choir boys/pillars in the community.

They are athletes with superior talent, talent that from a young age has allowed them to get away with all sorts of nonsense, getting them out of trouble time and time again until they have this sense of arrogant entitlement.

Again, I cheer for the laundry, the name on the front, I could care less about the name on the back, none of these guys are my friend, my buddy, my pal, they play for the team I want to win.

AB; yikes.

What a foolish, stupid, brain dead man. All he had to do to make this artist go away was give her a lousy 800.00 dollars, he probably has that much down in his sofa cushions, just pay her what you owe her and be done with it, but nope, he had to get into a pissing contest via social media/texts/whatever.

All he had to do was keep his nose clean and his mouth shut, or more to the point, STOP TEXTING.

With Brown, the Patriots were a wagon, 16-0 was on the table; without him, they are still good, but they are not the wagon they were with him.

The story from Foxboro is Kraft cut him, not Belichick. Brady is pissed they cut him, who can blame him, the man for all his faults is an other worldly talent.

Again, IMO he ain't right in the head; anyone with more than a two ounce brain would have kept his mouth shut, he's just incapable of dialing it back and behaving like a normal human being.

I saw him play in one game and do things on the field I've never seen before, it's like a man among boys.

It's off the field where there is a disconnect.

What a waste of a million dollar talent.

That's what happens when you have a .05 cent head.

Breaking news...Word out of Vegas for Week #5, the Patriots have been established as 103 point favorites over the Redskins, unless Brady doesn't play for some reason, then the Pats are only 89 point favorites. Stay tuned... :wink2: -- Al

They might be better off if Brady doesn't play; he stunk on ice today...…………….

George, I don't believe it will matter who the Pats play at Qb. I think my downstairs neighbor's 5 year old could play Qb and the Pats will still win by 70 or 80. The Redskins are absolutely horrible in all phases of the game. My quess is there will be a new HC for the 'skins in next weeks game. :rolleyes2: -- Al

Al...

I think Jay Gruden's firing is just a matter of when...
it's only been 4 loses...soon to be 5...but it's still kind of early...
the biggest factor is that the margin of losses keeps growing...

the current line is NE -14...
I bet it will go up...

maybe Chucky will hire him...

if their mom tells him to...^&grin

George...

I watched that game ...
Brady was uncharacteristically off today...
Buffalo is a good team...
but Brady did not play like Brady today...
which is a rarity...

I had NE -6 1/2..........

Speculation in DC is that Jay will end up with his bro. -- Al

They would have covered if he did not throw a pop warner level boneheaded INT in the end zone.

Or if their stiff kicker did not miss his 4th PAT of the year...……….

That's four points they left on the board.

What a horrible offensive performance.

The Bills defense is good, but it's not that good.

I only watched part of the Giants game but Jones looked polished and dynamic. Temporarily, the Giants have saved their season, although they did it against a terrible team. I will be interested to see how they play against a good team. We will find out soon enough as they're playing the Vikings next week who lost to DA Bears today.

My Rams really got plastered at home. Goff looks like a guy with no confidence. Four turnovers. He can't handle the pass rush and Gurley remains MIA. Only five carries. I'm not sure what is going on with Gurley but it is not good. If he is injured and can no longer carry the load, they need to move on to someone else. Very fortunate to be 3-1. Except for the injury to Brees and Newton, they could be 0-4. Until this week their D had played outstanding but they can't keep it up with their offense turning the ball over. And they have to go to Seattle on Thursday night. A huge game in the NFC west. The Rams are at a juncture where the season could go down the tubes. The poor play of the O-line is really killing them. Wouldn't be surprised to see Seattle crush them. Their best hope is that the NFC west is just so weak the Rams win the division by default.

Have to give the Saints credit for beating Seattle on the road and now Dallas at home. Two difficult games. I thought their season was over when they lost Brees but their D is playing lights out. If they can get Brees back later this season, they are going to be tough to beat.

Washington is already looking to fire Gruden? I haven't heard any news yet, just some Monday-morning office talk.

Prost!

It's going to be hard to wait to December, till they play the Eagles. Those games are always exciting and hard-fought, and I can hardly wait to see a Jones-Wentz matchup.

Prost!

Gruden has been walking a high wire for the last couple of seasons. He got the 'skins to the playoffs in 2015 but it's been all downhill since then. The ax is coming, and not unexpected seeing as how bad the team has been this year. -- Al

Brad...
I saw that while watching the game...
laughed to myself...
I thought he had some Elton or Leon on his headphones...

I know I say this every year but can all of the NFL shows stop with the college football type of analysis of NFL teams?

If a team in the NFL struggles but wins against an inferior opponent it does not change the standings. There is no AP Poll etc. on Tuesday. The standings are based on wins and losses.
