N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (2 Viewers)

I'm not saying the Cowboys coach is on the hot seat but there was smoke coming from his ears. He looked like a survivor from the Hindenburg just after it went down. Imagine facing Jerry after losing to the Jets. It would be like explaining to Al Capone why you came up short while he reaches for his baseball bat.

"Don't bet any money [on] that happening," Jones said. "You'll lose it."

I dunno...it's like Garrett is his son in law...or first born child...he is either stubborn or loyal...

He’s a hardcore 49ers fan and moved on from the Jets but he still has at least — and I emphasize at least — 10 Jets jerseys. He’s always saying nasty things about them to bug me. I do like the Bears but I wouldn’t say I’m hard core. I’m still more of a Jets fan. You just can’t change what you grew up with, but this bozo still loves you ^&grin

Sorry Brad, wouldn't have gone there if I had known...……...don't worry, you'll get the last laugh on your son when the Jets win the Super Bowl down the road...…...they have the right QB, which is 90% of the battle.

In all fairness, is it the coaches fault they got hosed on that OPI call or their kicker missed a 40 yard FG or the QB couldn't punch it in when they were inside the 5 yard line...…….some things are out of a coaches control.

George...
no...maybe it's not...
but I say that after every game they lose...
somebody has got to get in the barrel...
if things don't go uphill the rest of the season...
I'm about ready for a change...

George, it’s all in good fun. The Jets may get to the Super Bowl one day but I will be taking the proverbial dirt nap!

The Rams just traded for Ramsey. An act of desperation but it should help some. What they really need is a couple of O-linemen. They now have no first round picks until 2022.

that's a huge pick up...
at a huge price...
two 1st rounders and some smaller draft picks...
hope they can handle his attitude...

The wheels are coming off. Three straight losses. Already two games behind the Niners who destroyed them last weekend. Injuries, lack of depth, Goff in a funk, Gurley not producing, and an awful O-line. It's a bold move out of desperation with the salary cap constraints and sending draft picks bye bye. Ramsey might only be there another year with his potential contract renewal coming up.

Doug...
if the Rams gave up two 1st rounders and an additional draft pick...
LA's intention is to sign him long term...
nobody gives up that much for 3/4's of a season...
nobody in their right mind does anyway...
he will be there long term...

That is their intention but the Rams are taking a huge risk. They have already signed Goff, Gurley and Donald to big contracts. Not clear they are going to have the cap space to compete for Ramsey when his contract comes due. And California teams are at an enormous disadvantage due to the high taxes. Ramsey is coming from a situation where he paid no state tax to one in which he will pay 13 percent. That's potentially a lot of money on a big contract. They also picked up a LB from the Ravens and OL from Cleveland. So they are playing to win now.

I think Ramsey's current contract runs through 2020 so the Rams would actually get him for 10 games this season and all of next season.

In 2016 the Rams used the No. 1 overall pick to take Jared Goff. Due to all of their trades, the Rams won’t have another first-round pick until 2022, which means they’ll go five years without picking in the top 32 (2017-2021).

He will want a new deal before his contract expires. In which case he might end up being traded again if the Rams can't come up with the cap space. Curious to see if he plays this weekend. The Rams secondary are decimated by injuries with Talib and Johnson out and Peters being traded.

Cowboys are decimated with injuries again this week...
this is gonna be a next man up nightmare...

3 starting offensive linemen are out...Martin...Smith...Collins...
Dak and Zeke are gonna get sacked and stuffed all day long...

#1 and #2 wide receivers are out again...Cooper and Cobb...
#3 Gallup is questionable...
Dak is gonna struggle trying to find a receiver that can run a route and get open with the motley receiver crew that is left......

starting cornerback Byron Jones is out again...
his back up Anthony Brown is out too...
Carson Wentz is gonna look like Brady in his absolute prime...

this is a division game against Philly for 1st place...
gonna be hard to watch for Cowboy fans...

get a bye next week...
maybe they can heal up some...

I hear Antonio brown is available! 😉

hehehe...yea...you're funny....^&grin

I do not want that guy...

he is available right up until he signs an NFL contract...
before the ink dries...
he will be on the commissioner's exempt list...

I really like the throwback uniforms the Deadskins are wearing today. Too bad that's the most exciting part of the 0-0 game in the third quarter. They would be doing my Rams a big favor to steal this one from the Niners. But I'm not holding my breath.

Speaking of Washington, they were the first team to cover the spread without scoring since Miami pulled it of in 2007; they lost 9-0, the spread was +10 for Washington, so they had that going for them yesterday.

That NFC East is a tire fire, the 4-3 Cowboys lead the division...………...and good Christ are the Iggles terrible, that defense is putrid, as is Wentz.

They let the wrong QB go, if that stiff did not get hurt, the Patriots would have rolled him and the Iggles and their Harry High School bozo of a coach...……………………...

Speaking of tire fires, the Bears were beyond awful yesterday. Trubisky has regressed. He looks like the second coming of Mark Sanchez.

Jimmy G isn’t looking that great either; 7 TDs and 6 INTs are not going to cut it. If not for that defense, who knows were they’d be.
