N.F.L. Season 2018-19 (2 Viewers)

Bosa is an absolute beast.

You should have heard my son during the game yesterday. He was besides himself; the cats were running away.

That has to be the scariest defense in the league.

They’ve moved up to number 6 in total offense and their rushing is number 2. However, their passing game is way down the list, number 24.

They’ve taken on all comers. Cardinals next, this Thursday. The game after that against the Seahawks should be interesting.

All the good teams outside the Pats are in the NFC this year. It's starting to feel like the 1980s with the 49ers and Packers playing lights out. The Saints are also playing well. The Chargers and Chiefs are tanking. This may be the easiest road to the Super Bowl that the Pats have ever had. Hopefully I just jinxed them.

I’m still feeling pretty good, but our (the pats) real season starts now.

As comical as it sounds, they are the most flawed 8-0 team I've ever seen.

Can't run the ball to save their lives, Brady is going to get killed, their O Line is horrible, Andrews, their center and captain, is out for the year with blood clots (good chance he'll never play again with that condition), they let Trent Brown walk and his replacement Wynn can't stay on the field, now their starting left guard is out, so that's three of their five starters out. Other than Edelman, who is Brady going to throw to; three rookies, Dorsett and Sanu, I hope Sanu gets on the same page as Brady, he's a good slot receiver, Edelman can go back outside where he belongs.

Their defense is other worldly, but in truth, they have played the march of the tomato cans, just awful opponents so far.

As you said, things are going to get interesting at Baltimore, Philadelphia, Houston, home vs Dallas, KC and the Bills, they also have Miami and the Bengals on their schedule.

They could go 16-0 or 10-6, who knows.

We'll see how things play out.

If they get to the SB, I can't see them beating any of the Saints, 49ers or Packers, I think those are the top three teams in the NFC and in that order 1-3 to go to the Super Bowl...………………………..

why did they trade Michael Bennet?

I hope he works out as good as the trade for Quinn did...
NE used him as a tackle...not a DE...
if Dallas can do that...
it would make a strong 4 man rush with Lawrence, Quinn, Bennett and Collins...
as Richard and Marinelli don't like to blitz...
that might really help...

He didn't fit their scheme, they wanted him to two gap, that's not his game, but I thought when he was with Seattle he was a tackle, not an end?

I still don't get the move, just like I don't get them putting Gordon on IR and then planning on cutting him.

I don't get either move.

I smell a first round knock out for them this year, which is just as well, they'd have no shot vs either 49er's/Saints...…………..

you're right about the Gordon move...I think there is more to that story than I read...no clue what...but it just doesn't make sense to me...

anyway...hope Bennett can contribute to the Cowboy's pass rush...and yes...he has played both positions through his career...not sure how the cowboys will use him yet...

Well like I said, I don't think they are going far in the playoffs this year, their O Line is terrible.

It's funny in that from 2006-2017 the defense was the weak link, now the offense is.

2014 was the exception when they had Revis, but they still needed two TD's in the fourth quarter to win that game and a boneheaded decision to pass on the goal line.

If they can't win the SB at this point, I'd rather they not go at all.

The Niners have scored 207 points while only giving up 77 in 7 games. Which would be great except:

The Patriots have scored 250 points while only giving up 61 in 8 games!

What's even more comical is 21 of those points came on a PIC 6, a fumbled punt that was recovered for a TD and a strlp sack that was returned for a TD, ie, none of those were on the defense.

They will have a good test Sunday night with Lamar "run first, pass second" Jackson and the Ravens.

I haven't looked at the box score...
but they really looked soft against the run...
a wins a win...
doesn't matter against who...
they all count the same...

It had all the markings of a trap game, which they managed to avoid. Bosa was generally contained but it took a double team to do it.

that's true...
when the line is 13 1/2...
that is a trap game...
and I bet on SF tonight and was laughing all the way til the 4th quarter...

Glad I drove like mad last night leaving the NJ area after the show so I could get home in time to witness that ****show last night.

Torched by a run first, pass second QB...………….why is it this team continually gets torched by these teams that run a Harry High School RPO style offense like the Doofins a few years ago, Folsie and the Iggles and now the Ratbirds.

They'll probably get torched by Watson and the Texans too...……...that defense suddenly looks horrendous, man did they get exposed last night.

They have essentially no tight end, idiotic not to draft or trade for one once Gronk retired, their offensive line is a tire fire too...……………….Eagles, Cowboys, Texans, Chiefs, Bills yet to play.

8-1 could turn into 11-5, 10-6...……………..yikes.

That was not pretty! There was a glimmer of hope in the second. That Edelman fumble was devastating!

So the latest disaster in California has the Chargers moving to London. Wow. Just before they get set to play in their new, state of the art stadium in LA. The Chargers are not a good fit for LA but that seems a bit extreme. I can't imagine many players are too thrilled about flying to England for road games. Some marketing person must have dreamed this up thinking it will expand the NFL market beyond the USA. Then knocked off early for lunch convinced they are a genius.
