More Boston Celtics porn.

I can't believe White was so wide open, GEGJ by #31, blew right past him to tip the ball in.

Still can't believe Smart's 3 point shot rimmed out, it looked truer than true, then White tipped it in, Tatum was on the other side but got shoved out of bounds; if it rimmed out to the right, no way he tips that in.

And hey gee, I hate to go there, but on the foul on Butler by Horford that resulted in three FT's...........He 1000% double dribbled, he had the ball in both hands at one point, that's a double dribble.

I love the way he flings himself into a defender, initiates contact, then draws the foul.

Such bullshit.

But hey, I digress.......................:wink2:

All aboard the Cancun express leaving Beantown. That was embarrassing. The Celts quit again.

So much for the luck of the Irish and the ghosts of Leprechauns floating around the garden.

Tatum blows out his ankle on the first possession of the game and it was all downhill from there.

What an *** kicking at home.

The Garden sure has not been friendly to the home teams in game 7's recently.

Ok, so now TNT can go back to ballwashing Butler again.

I'm sure now that the Nuggets have been sitting around for a week after demolishing LeBron (will he or won't he retire, the whole NBA world is on pins and needles as to what Bron Bron will do next, can't wait..................) and the Lakers the 8 seed Heat will roll them.

Isn't that just ****ing swell.

All,

George I was rooting for the Celtics and was sad to see them make a good run to level the game then lose it. Yeah man that ankle roll was nasty and we have all done it once in our lives but I have never rolled an ankle jumping 2 feet in the air and then coming down on it. Ouch!

I have not really payed attention to the NBA only because as you probably know the Spurs are in a rebuilding phase. I miss the glory days of Duncan, Manu, Parker and more importantly the DRAMA and rivalries. But, we got the new kid coming Wemby and I am excited to see if he will bring another Spurs dynasty. Coach Pop is practically the Spurs "coach for life" and is respected and adored by the entire city. I think he will put together another team like before then...retire? Yeah, I don't think he will ever retire and die as the Spurs coach. I swear when he does pass (god forbid) there will be a massive monument of him here in the City.

That's quite a hot take.

Tatum rolled his ankle on the first possession and was gimping around the rest of the game, Time Lord, who's made of glass, got hurt again, Brogdon, their best 3 point shooter, was playing with one arm.

But yeah; after waking up and playing their ***** off for three games to force a game seven, they quit.

In game seven.

At home.

Sure they did.

And BTW, no one from Boston refers to the city as "Beantown", that's some goofy nickname slapped on the city by some halfwit years ago.

Tough to lose that way at home. Did they quit? Absolutely not. It just shows how difficult it is to win four in a row in the playoffs. They put themselves in a tough position by losing two at home and it was uphill from there.

Boston had an amazing comeback but winning four in a row is a daunting task. No doubt Tatum was hurt after the ankle twist and their 3 p0int shooting was just "off" in the first half.
Miami will have a very tough time against Denver......but will the Nuggets be well rested or a little rusty?
Exciting series anyway......but interesting how 3 pointers dominate the game.

THIS.

I was a big basketball fan in the 1980's; the Celtics, Lakers, 76ers, Rockets, Pistons.................it was a different game back then.

The NBA today is a 3 point shooting contest with passive defense sprinkled in.

The Showtime Lakers with Magic running the offense, the fast break, he was, is and always will be my all time non Celtic player.

Those games were fun, fast and exciting; the crap version of the NBA I see now is hot garbage.

The Celts were the better team in terms of talent. They have a lousy coach, though. They definitely quit in the third quarter. Content to shoot threes. The brick layers called and want the Beantown Celts to pay dues if they keep that up. In contrast, Miami is a well-coached and tough team. Pat Riley instilled toughness there. I like Denver in five, though.

Denver demolished the Heat last night, they toyed with them all game long, never in doubt, fast break points, back door cuts, great ball movement and passing.

And right as rain, the scrubs on Miami that lit the Celtics up from 3 point range all series long couldn't put the ball in the ocean from the beach last night, specifically that stiff Martin, who looked like a worldbeater all 7 games in the ECF.

And Butler sucked too, the big mouth, cocky assclown that he is.

First time all playoffs long they lost a game 1.

This could be the first finals that ends in 3.

Denver was rested, at home, and playing in that mile high climate that they go on and on about. Miami had no chance in that game. The next game is huge. They don't come back down 0-2.

Right; and if Denver had lost, the narrative would be "Denver got rusty sitting around for a week/Miami once again wins game 1 on the road/they are a true team of destiny."

They got their ***** handed to them; whenever they made a mini run, unlike the Celtics, who pissed away not one but two 10 point leads in games one and two, Denver did not panic, put it into another gear and that was that.

They have a huge size advantage and it looked like a bunch of Dad's playing hoops with the neighborhood kids.

Unlike the Celtics, Denver is not going to walk the ball up the court, dribble/**** around for 20 seconds and heave up a worthless 3 point shot, they are going to push the tempo and go into the paint.

I did not watch the game, however the highlights reminded me of the Harlem Globetrotters games I watched years ago. One team basically running trick plays while the other missed every shot.

The only thing missing was the confetti filled water bucket. How can this even be called a sport?

The Morant situation is more compelling than these Finals.

I don't care who wins this series, but you have to admire the toughness of the Heat. They got a big win on the road. The first home loss in the playoffs for Denver. Should be interesting now.

Again, I did not watch the game but from watching the highlights and analysis on ESPN here is where we stand:

After Game 1 the Nuggets were the greatest NBA team ever and they were going for a sweep;

After Game 2 Miami was the greatest NBA team ever and they would win in 5 games;

After Game 3 the Nuggets are still the greatest NBA team ever and they will win in 5 games.

Murray has had a playoff run for the ages. I had never heard of him before the playoffs. His numbers surpass just about anyone who has ever played. Jokic is a mystery. He puts up massive numbers but when you watch him he is slow and appears to be playing at half speed. He can't run or jump. His shooting motion is strange but he somehow gets it done.

Denver stepped on the Heat's throats tonight, just a dominant performance with their best player in foul trouble/playing with a bum ankle.

Denver is relentless, their role players were superb tonight; how does that feel Miami?

And all the smoke on the East Coast is not from Canadian wild fires; it's the fallout from Caleb "horseshoe up his ***" Martin crashing back to earth...............played out of his mind vs the Celtics, he's sucked this series.

Gee, what a shame.

Finish these bums Monday night.

I can't remember ever being less enthusiastic about an NBA Finals. Some good basketball but it is hard to care about who wins. I can't find a reason to pull for or against either team.
