NBA Playoffs (1 Viewer)

The injuries are becoming unreal. Antetokounmpo now has a knee injury for the Bucks. Every team left has a star player that is injured. Not sure what is going on this year.

People within the Milwaukee Bucks organization fear that Giannis Antetokounmpo has suffered a severe ACL injury. However, no MRI has been done yet.

Not good for this year.

Or coming this late in the season, next year either.

Basketball is a contact sport! With ten large men sprinting up and down the court, jumping in a scrum of players pushing and shoving its no wonder that so many injuries occur.
Knees, ankles and groins are most vulnerable to injury even with the best physical therapists and trainers. Maybe the season is too long and maybe not enough time in between playoff games
but money rules and the players get paid for the risks they take.
Milwaukee has little chance without Gianis so I would bet on the Clippers with Phoenix still my choice for the West.

Generally, not a great game but it got a little chippy, with Paul at the center of it; Cousins hitting Paul after the Suns scored (a great acting job by Paul) and the Clippers players losing his mind by shoving Paul.

I finally watched a playoff game along with a pre-game show.

Despite what multiple analysts said, Giannis Antetokounmpo is not one of the top five centers ever, nor is Chris Paul the best point guard in NBA history.

What a rating bonanza this series must be.

Compared to last year it’s an improvement but compared to 2019, they are down (through the first three games) by an average of 4.6 million or 34%.

Last year was a farce, as was the NHL playoffs; MLB was the worst of the three.

All three "champions" should also have an *.

The one team I will give credit to (as much as I hate to do it) is Tampa Bay in the NHL.

They won last year in the bubble and then came back and won it again.

Obviously the Lakers didn’t repeat and I have my doubts that the Dodgers will.

Although that is true, they blatently cheated vs the salary cap.

I blame Shady Brady; everywhere he goes, championships follow, then so do the cheating allegations..........:wink2:

As always thanks for the laughs!

other than people in Wisconsin...
I bet not many people gave the Bucks a realistic chance of winning the Championship...
but here they are on the verge of winning it...
Suns blew a healthy lead last night...

congrats to Buck's fans...
Antetokounmpo is a beast...a one man show almost...
they were a long shot from the beginning...
but won convincingly...

My son is a long time Phoenix Sun fan so I was disappointed for him but the Bucks deserved the win.
Hopefully the Suns will have a shot next season but with Chris Paul aging and a healthy Nets and Lakers team
it will be tough. Anyway a pretty exciting playoff run which I enjoyed watching.
Now I can only hope that the NY Mets go a long way!

Sounds likely that Westbrook is heading to the Lakers. I'm not a big fan of the guy. Was hoping the Lakers could pull a miracle and get Lillard from Portland.

The Lakers are getting the band back together. Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony. Westbook and Nunn. The NBA salaries are unreal. Curry just signed his second $200 million deal with the Warriors. Amazing.

here's a strange one...
Dennis Schroder of the Lakers...
declined signing an 84 million dollar...4 year contract...with the Lakers last year...
and signed with Boston for next year for 5.9 million...
whaaaaaaaat!!!
his agent should start looking for a new job...
