NBA Playoffs (1 Viewer)

If the Lakers were not in the playoffs, would you watch?

IF they get eliminated, will you still watch the playoffs?

I watch NFL, NFL and MLB playoffs if the Patriots, Bruins or Red Sox are not involved; I will watch the Celtics when they are in the playoffs, but once they get knocked out, I tune out...................I also don't watch other games while the Celtics are still in the hunt.

I frankly don't care.......................

not really...I might watch some of the Brooklyn Nets...a lot of talent on one team to pass up...they should dominate the playoffs in my opinion...I will watch the Championship series with whoever in it...

I watch all the NFL...whether Cowboys are eliminated or not...but that may be because I like to bet on them...

I watch all the Astros...every night they are on tv...going to the game today...but once eliminated...I would only watch the AL/NL Championship series and the WS...

So a two time all star who averages 17.5 ppg and 13.5 rebounds per game lands on the Lakers............gee, what a shock, I'm stunned, what was the "trade" btw, I heard they bought out his remaining salary and gave up jack to get him.

And people wonder why NBA ratings are in the toilet.............the Lakers are like the Germans rolling through Europe up until they were dumb enough to invade Russia......................

And to think I was upset that the Lakers got this stiff for nothing...............he's stapled to the bench tonight while Davis is flopping around on the court like wounded rhino....................Lakers scored a whopping 14 points in the first quarter, a season low.

They are currently down 29.................it's never over when it comes to LeBron, all he needs to do is drive to the basket every possession for the rest of the game, draw the foul and get the basket and they'll win.

And man is he blowing his feathers, he should give up and shave his dome.

The Suns held on last night, beating the Lakers by 13 113-100......................adios Lakers.

That's two of the last three years that LeBron has broken down during the season/at the end.

Maybe him and Davis can force a trade to the Nets.

Yankees, Lakers, Canadiens and Dolphins; whenever any of their seasons crash and burn, I'm a happy sports fan.

The Red Sox won, the Bruins won in OT and the Lakers got bounced from the playoffs all in the same night.

I might have to call my doctor if the current "issue" I have lasts more than four hours.

injuries are the great equalizer...
Phoenix while Paul is hurting himself was no doubt the better team...
falling down 2-1 they really rallied big time when AD got worse...

last night...
they hit 4-3 pointers in their first 5 shots...
the separation from LA was so fast it made my head spin...
congrats to Sun's fans...

George....
lol...
you have a "kill list" like Arya from Game of Thrones?
"Walter Frey...Cercei...Joffrey...The Hound..."

In all fairness Lebron can’t do it by himself. Had AD been healthy I feel that the Lakers would have won in 6. They seemed to be coming into their own when AD got hurt. That injury killed their season.

I can easily see Phoenix meeting Brooklyn in the playoffs...
I got caught up in the Laker/Lebron/AD hype...
thinking their dismal record was 100% blamed on injury...
and while it was to a large degree...they just didn't match up that well with the Suns...
if they had resigned Rondo...they probably would of been a little better...

also I think I underestimated the Suns...they are a lot better than I gave them credit for...
their 3 point weapon is a game changer...
strike hard and fast from the opening bell...
they hit 51.4% of their 3's last night...that's a HUGE number...
why shoot 2's...
they hit a lower percentage of 2's in the game...50.7%..

Booker had a monster game...47 points...
8-10 from 3 point range...

if you wanna beat Phoenix...you better bring your lunch...
still...I think Brooklyn will be the favorite...

The Lakers non LeBron/Unibrow roster is hot garbage, worst team in the NBA level bad.

When Davis came out and LeBron took a rest, the Lakers looked like a bunch of nerds from an office somewhere having a pick up game in a court down by the playground; who is that chrome domed white guy with the white sweat band around his finely polished dome, mother of God.

I'm no fan of the Lakers to begin with, then factor in my general hatred for player generated super teams and it's a total double down of hate.

I hope the Bucks take out the Nets, another player generated super team........................it's bad for the league, period.

What happened to that conspiracy to put the Lakers in the finals? The injuries were too much this year. This Lakers team was actually much deeper than the one that won last year but no way to flip a switch in the playoffs with guys who barely played together all year. None of those role players stepped up, however. Kuzma, Gasol, Pope all gave them nothing in the playoffs.

Minus the injuries, the NBA would have figured out a way to get them to the finals, ratings matter and sorry, I don't see them setting any sort of records with a Jazz/Bucks or whoever final, do you?

They'd better hope the Nets get to the finals as they are somewhat of a draw, all of those rabid basketball fans in NY who've ignored the Nets since they moved to NY will pile aboard the bandwagon....................

No, we will not. If you’re a Knicks fan you dislike the Nets and vice versa.

Now Harden is injured.

The East is going to get interesting if he is out for an extended period of time.

Phoenix is still rolling strong...
Paul seems healed...
paired up with #3 Denver...leading 1-0...
would like Phoenix to advance...
and represent the West...
better than I gave them credit for...
without Malone and Stockton in their prime...I don't think Utah can hang with them,...
or whoever is the winner of the Jazz/Clippers series...

still...even with Harden temporarily out...now listed day to day so expect him back soon...
I think Brooklyn is just too loaded for the Greek Freak and his brother...
Brooklyn up 2-0 and winning those games by an average of 24 points...
and that's without Harden...
Boston played them better than Milwaukee has so far...

True dat; we got curb stomped, but we won one game and had a nice lead in game #1 before we blew it...............;).............

Phoenix outscored Denver in every quarter last night to win by 25...
led by as much as 31 at one point...

I guess Paul is healthy now...played 31 minutes last night...
had he played like this earlier...
the Lakers would have looked a lot worse than they did...

just when I'm sure Brooklyn was gonna run away with it...
Milwaukee and Giannis steal one...
glad my bookie doesn't do the NBA...
wonder if Hardaway will be back for the next game...

Jason...
I don't remember an NBA playoff season where injuries played such a role...
it's like the death card from a tarot reader...

Looked like a high ankle sprain; if so, happy trails Super Team Nets.............................
