I love when it's a blowout the moronic comments from the guys calling the game "Well they're down 30, but they're not going anywhere".................going where? Walking off the court and saying that's it, we're done, naturally they're "not going anywhere."

Nitwits.

Another favorite of mine, especially in football, is "the team/player bought into the program." What exactly does that mean? Conversely, are they not going to follow the game plan?[/QUOTE]

They do what they are told.

Do what it takes to stay on the field.

Stay out of trouble with coed's.

For about a week leading up to this tournament every pundit on TV couldn’t stop talking about how this was the year a mid-major would win it all.

I actually believed them too.

Then I remembered that this is college basketball where a mid-major has not won the championship in over 30 years.

The closest I remember was Butler. And that was the worst game ever. They could hit the proverbial broad side of a barn. Chris

Talk about a rebuilding year!

"With the departure of sophomore Mwani Wilkinson, every single scholarship member of the 2021-22 LSU men’s basketball team is gone, declaring their intention to enter the NBA draft or brave the ever-filling transfer portal."

Glad to see Coach K go out with a loss to the archrival UNC. In fact make that two losses in a row to them. K seems like a real sore loser and generally unpleasant fellow. Never liked Duke since my days at U of Maryland. Chris

I agree. Never liked the guy. He looked like his head was going to explode last night.

I was pretty happy with the outcome. Fun and exciting game to watch plus the good guys won! 😀

You could really tell that UNC and Duke hate each other. That is old school rivalry. None of that paying homage to Coach K as the greatest coach in history. UNC wanted to send him out a loser. The shot of Coach K and his wife leaving the arena was surreal. Like something from an Ed Wood film. At least he did shake hands with UNC after the game unlike most of his team. You have to give him his due in terms of success but like they say "nice guys finish last."

I don’t know, Dean Smith and John Wooden didn’t finish last much.

Hard fought game last night. Credit Kansas for their comeback in the second half. UNC showed they belonged in the championship game. Chris

It appears the NBA and players union will allow high school players age 18 and above to be drafted, foregoing college. I agree with allowing players to "ply their trade" but will miss seeing the top prospects playing for Kentucky and other schools (I don't watch NBA games). On the plus side, we'll get to watch players probably stay longer at the school of their choice. Chris
