So it's down to Michigan/Villanova. According to the guy running my pool, I'm the only one who's got these two in the final. It's up to Michigan to win me two grand, not to mention prevent another championship in Philly.

That said, Villanova is a lock now.....................

I don't have a favorite in the championship game, so good luck George. Don't know how you managed to get Michigan over the other top seeds. Will you be my consultant next yr? :salute:: Chris

Watched ND beat UConn in the women's tournament. UConn loses in OT in the Final 4 for the 2nd consecutive year, 91-89. All I can say is that the 'luck of the Irish' is no myth. ND had a 5 point lead with 21 seconds left in regulation but blew it and the game went to OT. ND had a 5 point lead in OT with 43 seconds left but blew that lead as well. ND then hit a shot with 1 second left on the clock to take the 91-89 lead but UConn still had a chance as their length of the floor pass was completed and a decent, short 2-point shot attempt was gotten off only to bang off the rim at the buzzer. ND earned the win against formerly undefeated UConn, but not without the 'Luck of the Irish'. -- Al

Watched MSU (Miss State) beat UofL in over time. MSU goes to the championship game second yr in a row after ending UConn's streak last yr. They're my wife's school so, GO BULLDOGS!. Chris

I pick with my heart, not my head, had MI and KY in the final four along with Villanova and Kansas, I went back and forth on who'd go to the finals between MI and KY as they are my two favorite programs, it came down to a coin flip, tails was MI and it ended up tails.......:wink2:............not very scientific, but it worked.

Say it isn't so George. Michigan is one of your 2 favorite programs? We will really be at odds Thursday when the Irish meet the Wolverines on the ice.

Yeah, sorry, been a Michigan fan since the 1970's. My high school football team copied their uniform, we were the Westwood Wolverines; same helmet design, green instead of dark blue.

For football, it's Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama, basketball is Michigan, Kentucky and Oklahoma, hockey is Michigan and Boston College.

So there you go.......................

The 'Luck of the Irish' is real and a thing to be feared as MSU just found out. MSU had a 5 point lead with under 2 minutes to play, and just like against UConn the other night, the 5 point deficit meant nothing to ND which tied the game and then won it on a last second wing and a prayer 3-pointer by the same player who beat UConn the other night with a similar shot in the same situation. Thought MSU had it won when they were ahead by 15. Should have known better. It was a highly entertaining game. -- Al

ND out played MSU by far in 3rd qtr. Mcgowan missed a wide open layup and the "no call" against ND as MSU brought the ball to mid court at the end were critical. Chris

That 'no call' was ridiculous. The MSU player was assaulted and how there was no foul called is incredible. And like you say, the missed layup killed them. -- Al

This is a madhouse! A madhouse!

All the humanity!

NOTHING is falling for 'Nova!

Stop the **** game!

OK, justice finally prevailed....for now.

That DiVencenzo is something else!

No doubt this Divenchenzo ballbag is somehow related to Nick Foles.

Guaranteed.

Barring a miracle in the second half, goodbye two large...................oh well, it was a fun ride.

Lol! Well done. :)

I don't have enough stake in the game and no desire to anger Meatchicken fans....but....I must say, besides dirty cheap shots and air balls, what else does "Vogner" offer?
That is the kind of player I found an excuse to brain early back in my playing days. He's a 7 foot Grayson Allen. ;) the kinda player you just have to brain. :)

Honest to Christ, it's always some no name that pisses me off; Nick Foles, Divenballbag, always some tomato can that does it.

I saw him come off the bench against Bama, and hit 5 three pointers in like 1 minute. He plays like some sort of foreign devil!

Dude is the real deal, reminds me of Larry Bird

And you are killing me with your references! Lol! I like the way you talk!

So another goofy looking white guy then?

Reminds me of one of those YouTube videos where some nerd goes to a inner city court with coke bottle glasses, his shorts pulled up to his armpits and white socks up to his knees and they goes off on the court, hitting shots from everywhere, dunking, faking guys out of their underwear while the crowd goes insane.

Except Donte (if that is his real name) is a scary athlete, did you see where he sky'd up there, blocked a dunk with his left hand, and was still high enough in the air to stuff it twixt the glass and rim with his right hand? That was just crazy!

The good news, Canes and Wolverines talking about a 2020 football matchup! Then, we can show these casual fans here what "Hate" is really about. :)

Congrats to Villanova, but I was cheering for Michigan as they field great teams along with high academic standards.

The Wolverines had a great run that most did not expect.

The game went about as I expected. Hoist another one for The Big East ^&cool

Great, good for you, glad it went the way you expected it to, did you also expect some nitwit to score 31 points off the bench because I sure as **** didn't.

This information would have been useful BEFORE I made my pool picks, but whatever, two grand gone in an instant..........................
