Near the Laotian Border 1968 (1 Viewer)

Excellent Steve. I like the way you have the groundwork/scene make it appear that they are on a slope.

If it's consistently good then it is consistently --> STEVE! ^&grin
Ditto on all the below comments. Especially the slopped terrain.

Stay "sane" :p

Really nice work on this Steve-very evocative of the actual terrain as I remember it. Your little mini vignettes all tell their own stories which is always a sign of an effective diorama. Well done

With more Marines on the way, I can see you are getting fully absorbed with this series Steve. With your terrain works, there is plenty of scope for many more scenes. :salute::, Robin.

Hi Steve,
Great story-telling as usual!
I also see you did a nice little ‘VC’ conversion...Keep ‘em coming and all the best,
Andy.

Thank you Robin and Andy ! :salute::

As long as you keep 'em coming Andy, I'll keep keep 'em coming !

Steve, this scene reminds me of the chaos after the 'ambush' during the 'Platoon' 1986 movie. Excellent dio mate!

I couldn't find that particular clip, but this classic one from Forrest Gump comes in at a close second.

Cheers Toddy.
Yeah that's a great action scene from Forest Gump ! I'm gonna have to do a diorama based on that sometime !
