Need Help Identifying Set(s) (1 Viewer)

Lawrence,

My BS22 set consists of an officer and five enlisted men charging. I guess I should amend the list next time around.

Dave

Dave,

As I bought these figures without a box, I cannot say difinitively that this is the correct composition of BS22 or that these figures even comprise a set, so until you have the opportunity to pull your set, and check the set number on the box, I would not amend your list.

All the best,
Lawrence

Lawrence,

Mine are definitely charging, but that's what I've got on the list. If they were sold individually, Len may not have also packaged them as a set, but that's extremely unlikely. One of our missing sets is probably RWF advancing with bugler.

Hi Lawrence Lo
I am pretty sure this is a special job we did for a collecter, its a regular ambulance oxen drawn,is there a cross bar fitted to the centre pole ,cannot quite make it out in photo. The figures are ones from various sets that could be identified ,the mule is not a Trophy item.

Hi Len

Great to have you join the Forum.

All the very best

Martyn:)

Welcome to the Forum, Len. You've got a lot of fans hanging out in here, myself included.

I think it's quite neat that in the last day Len Taylor of Trophy and Ron Leh of Somerset have joined the Forum. Show it's universal appeal and that is the place to be.

Welcome aboard Len, looking forward to chatting with you and providing any titbits of Trophy info you can give us. :)

I wish you a very warm welcome to the forum.

It is indeed an honour and privilege to have you here.

Best Wishes, Raymond.

What a pleasant surpise finding you've joined us on the forum Len so hopefully I can be brought up to date on the outcome of the work done on your gall-bladder and be brought up to speed with all the new since my last email from you back on 3 Dec 2006. All kidding aside Len it's really great to see that you've become a member of the forum and hope this finds that all is well and has been well at your end. That's it for now and welcome aboard......The Lt. aka Smugdancer

Dear Len: Welcome to The Forum at tree Frog Tresures! My wife Karen & I enjoyed our visit to your Trophy Minaitures HQ in Wales on July 9, 1995. You were a most splendid host that day and gave Karen a better appreciation for my toy soldier hobby. I hope you are doing well health wise and enjoying all the money I spent on Trophy sets, ha, ha.
Warm regards, Gary M. / "Iron Brigade" in Wisconsin, USA 02/06/2010

Dear Mr. Taylor,

I was away visiting colleges with my son this weekend and just returned to find you answered my post. Needless to say, I was thrilled to see your response as I never expected to hear from the owner. What a wonderful surprise and a pleasure and an honor. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Yes, there is a cross bar fitted to the end of the centre pole. I had not found any designation for the Lincolnshire, so knowing it was a special job helps to resolve that mystery. The mule did not seem to fit with other Trophy mules I had, so it helps confirm that the item is not Trophy. Once again, thank you for your insight and a warm welcome to the forum. I look forward to reading your comments and your participation in our discussions. All the best, Lawrence

Anyone own or at least have a photo of set # CO10: Trophy Garibaldian Gun Battery? Always wanted to see this set. I do not think many were made. JW

JW,

I bought the Garibaldi Artillery Battery as a gift for a Sicilian friend of mine. I'll see if he can send me a picture of it.

Master Taylor,
Your creations have brought me more joy than any other Toy Soldiers, and in my 30's and 40's to boot! Your work is certainly much appreciated in this day and age !
Best,
