Need some opinions on figarti! (3 Viewers)

Wow...I never fail to be blown away by BSP's dioramas and photos. With this one, I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't an archival war photo.

Don't want to double post, so I'll say her the D-Day scene was a real work of art.

If you haven't done so already, you should publish a book of these. Or someone should have you do their catalogs.

This thread concerns another members dillema..So I dont want overshadow the conversation at hand. But I need to thank you for recognizing our Work. When The Great Crusade is finished, in about a year. We will consider a book.

But it seems when push comes to shove, no one seems willing to buy something like that. We would put it out without a profit. Lets see what happens when the time comes.

Our work actually has been in many advertisements for various manufacturers, We do Figarti's show banners, We will also be regularly featured in Armchair General Magazne in upcoming issues. Thanks again Alex

Hi, the break is on the figure is "clean".. The arm is out of the hole basically. Can i get this epoxy at a grocery store or do i need to go to a "LOWES"? Thanks

Definitely a hardware store. They come in different styles...syringe, tube, 5 minute, overnight, etc. Personal preference is the tubes. You lay out equal amounts of each tube next to each other on a small sheet of aluminum foil, mix with a toothpick (file the tip down or buy some with a flat end), then apply thinly with a fresh toothpick to both surfaces. You're aiming for complete wetting of both surfaces...then put them together. Dab up any excess that comes out, let dry overnight, then put a flat finish (hobby shop) over any shiny dried glue.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone has made a Youtube video of using epoxy

Here's an into video...I like the coffee lid idea. His first described product is what I use: 5 minute, CLEAR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EjRqIJrkuo
If you don't have a coffee lid, cut up some foil & tape it down to a flat surface.

I have been getting great results fixing just about everything with Gorilla Glue.. Alex
