Never say Never! (2 Viewers)

I don't see anything in this post that allows collectors to say X or Y is coming out. I still think its a strange post as its like a response but, there was no conversation before for it to come. We know that K&C has said NO many times to sets etc and, then done them!!!

We are in the east regardless of what is said with german releases to date. KV1 or, KVII would be better than a T-34 IMO. Won't probably sell as well as a T-34 but, a much more interesting pair of AFV's for me.

At a conservative guess Andy must have hundreds of different avenues whereby he hears the often competing views of collectors. This is probably just one response in one forum. He must get sick of unsolicited advice - then again if he made those Prussians I would shut up...probably...for a while...well, maybe just about the Prussians!

Jack..

I am sure he does This was not advice just my opinion on what would be more asthetically appealling AFV's. I like the things that have not been made like the two russian tanks I mentioned or, things like the Jagdpanzers or flakpanzers. Its sometimes nice to mention these things as otherwise we get the same old releases.

Perhaps Mitch, if you will refer to the recent "New French Napoleonic Line Infantry" thread, post #23 ... it may shed some light on the cause of this post :)

I can appreciate that K&C may perhaps have a lot of new French and British releases lined up in the pipeline .. but at some point after that, NAP collectors are going to be wanting something different. Consider that, there are now more manufacturers releasing NAPs in matt, and that almost all are doing French & British figures.

For that I do thank K&C for the new NAP in Egypt line .. and have gotten every piece released todate.
;)

If it is 2 Russian armored vehicles released then there would be room for a fresh new T-34 and something different,
Like a KV-1. ???

Thats the hope. but, it may be a 76mm and 85mm T-34!!!!! green and a whitewash

I've always had to stay away from any proposed Eastern Front range because of limited War budget, but if K&C make a T34/85 its going to be almost impossible to resist. So just the one tank and some tank riders...oh dear....its happening already and nothing has been announced yet!:wink2::)

Rob..

I would like a mullered version of a T-34 after the 88mm did its work!!! would make a great dio

With K&C doing the battle of Berlin I would like them to make a JS2 tank

Neil...

Would be interesting to see their variant. depends where they drop their russians in as to what will be done. Berlin battle I would not expect KV's but, things like JS and T-34 85 possibly earlier for Kursk maybe a t-34/76 but, if there is to be two AFV's maybe one for each period. Its easy to say which should be done but, with a range thats not as popular as the west its probably going to be a T-34 for certain but, what the second one will be????

With first Legion making a T34 does kc need to do the same as item as other company's as at the moment we got three companies making the stuka and do we want the same with t34 better to see something different .

Neil,

"With first Legion making a T34 does kc need to do the same as item as other company's as at the moment we got three companies making the stuka and do we want the same with t34 better to see something different ."

I think you will find there are some K&C collectors who do not collect FL and some FL collectors who do not collect K&C so don't see a problem if they both produce their own versions of anything. Surely it gives the collector more choice.

Regarding the much mentioned Stuka, three producers and 9 variants etc as discussed elsewhere I think it better to wait and see what actually gets made.

Not sure why you would be so concerned when you only recently indicated you only collect CS and Figarti items.

Regards
Brett

Would love to see some more early eastern Front German and Russian figures.

The reason I have a interest Brett is I collect toy soldiers but would say in general if the companies keep making the same stuff at the same time make for a boring hobby

I feel your pain Rob! Resistance is futile! If K & C makes a T34 and Russian soldiers, I'm right there with you!

Brett...

I understand what Neil is saying and, what you are to a point. What FL makes is of no concern really to K&C collectors and, vice versa unless, you collect stuff from all manufacturers regardless. The two do not work together anyway for a variety of reasons. I think Neil is saying It would be nice if manufacturers would walk their own paths!!! No Romans then inundated with them no stuka's probably a whole squadron coming. no me 109's for europe now two quite similar. Russians... well Figarti played around with them FL are at one battle in the east and, K&C doing them sometime.

Thats why I would like to see K&C venture to the east with something different than just a T-34

Your right Mitch that was my point.{sm4}

Being the scale difference between the two companies is drastic....K&C much larger in size who makes what, when is irrelevant. I don't think there will be FL collector mixing anything with K&C. if anything as a separate venture.

I like most collector's can't wait to see what KC put out on a monthly basis. I have my hopes when it comes to WW2. But one thing I hope Andy and the KC machine in the near future produce is some
American Civil War sets, IMO KC have produce some awsome sets. To qoute Rob's thread, that was
one of the eras that SWAYED ME. :salute::
