This photo has been posted on the W. Britain Facebook Page . . . . . Shows two new civilian figures, two new mounted figures, and a two-figure telegraph set with Federal Officer using a pocket telegraph to send a message . . . . All are supposed to be in the fall catalog . . . .

Thanks for posting those Mike. All look like great additions to the HQ scenes. I have a permanent dio on display of Meade's HQ and look fwd to adding these. Chris

Mike, thanks for posting, looks like it is going to be a great fall for us ACW fans. I love the civilians and the new mounted figures. Can't wait to see the rest. Chris

There is also a civilian female figure

Here's a picture of her that was posted on face book yesterday . . . . Interesting looking cabin in the background . . . . could work for FIW, AWI, and ACW . . . . . perhaps a future offering . . . .

Mike, thanks for posting, great looking figures and the cabin hopefully will be a future release. Can be used for multiple time periods. Hopefully we will see more glimpses of the fall catalog soon and maybe some of the winter catalog at the Chicago show. Maybe a limber? So far so good though. Chris

The figure of the Union signalman w/ flag should go nicely with this upcoming two-figure telegraph set. Maybe Ken can follow up with an officer looking through a telescope on tripod.

Thanks for posting the FB picture-These figures by the way remind me of the character actors John Qualen and Olive Carey who played Mr & Mrs Jorgensen in Ford's The Searchers-great poses though.

I think I mentioned to both you and Chris that I have personally been badgering Ken for the last five years at the December London shows for some ACW era civilians- so one can depict a "town/farm" scene where either Yankee or Southern civilians are watching troops marching through their thoroughfare. In fact I had practically given up- so much so- that a year or so ago I purchased half a dozen Historex metal kits of Western gunfighters/lawmen-carved them up somewhat by removing all their guns/holsters/gunbelts etc and then converted them into figures that might just pass as 19th century American civilians as well as a couple of disabled Union veterans to enable me to construct such an ACW town scene.

But at long last- after what seems like an eternal wait- Ken has finally come good with what looks like three excellent ACW civvies. Once again Mike thanks for posting.

Bob

As usual Bob incredible detail on everything.

You are more than welcome Bob . . . . Glad to be able to. Ever since the ACW era barn and farm house was released, like you, I also have been after Ken to make ACW civilians and farm animals. Finally they will be here soon. Per Ken, these new civilian figures are being made with a Harper's Ferry scenario in mind . . . . .
