Colonel,
One of the great advantages of you collecting toy soldiers to represent the Kiwi army is that your display will come pretty close to the actual strength of your Army. Do your Generals also put pieces of paper on a table and pretend they are actual troops ?

Keep up the good work but the chip on your shoulder is still there.

Obviously anatomy and reproduction aren't a strongpoint of yours also . Surely if you are to show something copulating it should have the necessary parts for the image to make sense .

Come on people, it's not that bad, even a bit **nny.
I have seen worse things in Europe.

Uh-oh, the Diggers and Kiwis are starting another one! The sheep dip will fly!

Prost!

I think it's a cool idea for your model, by the way. Why not? It's like nose art on an airplane.

Prost!

How long before a roo mounting a Kiwi appears on someone's Oz track {sm4}

When my Aussie Centurion appears it will have a couple of ANZAC pennants...…...better value.

Give Em A Taste Of Kiwi.:salute::

Don't have a chip on my shoulder, had 3 pips and a crown, now retired.
If you had bothered to see my Kiwi in Vietnam Diorama you would have seen the amount of vehicles and artillery, M113s, Land Rovers and the Huey in RNZAF colours I will be purchasing
from Andy.

Colonel,

Firstly let me say I deal with military customers everyday in my business as we also do medal mounting and next to an army base. Many are very senior. Only the other day had a good chat with an ex NZ army officer who has a very impressive Kiwi set of medals (now 11 including his Aussie medals). Have even met one of the NZ guys who was at Long Tan with D Coy. My father was British army and it was my intended occupation from as young as I can remember. Eventually joined the Royal Hong Kong Police instead (better pay, conditions, father stayed in HK, plus interesting job etc.).

I have the utmost regard for all servicemen and ex-servicemen. Normally I would have ignored your post but you trying to show your Kiwi patriotism seems to involve having a dig at Aussies. In your other thread you made a reference to make way for the professionals and the "conscripts" (ie. Aussies). Just for the record NZ lost 37 dead in Vietnam compared to 500 + for Australia. Wikipedia indicates 3,890 Kiwis served in Vietnam and over 60,000 from Australia. Of the Australian dead 200 were conscripts. I would say Australia punched above its weight there as the Kiwis did and have often done. However conscription ended in 1972 so your reference was a bit dated as you are most definitely not Vietnam era. Then again I have met hundreds of Vietnam veterans and I don't recall any using the term "gooks".

No need to worry about me not getting your business as of no consequence to me. I know Peter is a good dealer and has a great looking shop.

I think we can all see that you are very proud of your country and own service, as you should be. I don't think you would get to Colonel rank without being very good at soldiering. However in the hobby world of toy soldiers probably not a good look to look down on a civilian like Wayne just because he has not served. Many in Wayne's family tree have served.

Regarding NZ at sport it would be fair to say you guys are doing well :salute:: Don't tell anybody in UK but in the cricket you should have won and in the netball for reasons I won't get into I was supporting Maria Folau who just happens to play for NZ.

Enjoy your well earned retirement and your collecting.

I had hoped the poking **n at each other would remain so but unfortunately the **n ended. I enjoy a good rivalry as much as the next guy but please remain calm and keep it friendly. There is no need to get ignorant and threaten each other. So please keep things friendly or this thread will be closed.
