I bought this trench set from John Gittins at the London show last week. The base is one I have had a few years now.
I've gathered a few K&C troops together and come up with a scene of US para storming a German trench. With better camera angles it could look really cool.

Excellent scene James, looks like a very good release from JG, works well^&cool

Well done James, looks like a scene from "Band of Brothers" when they carry out an assault on German trenches to knock out some German howitzers
guy:)

Nice set-up James!!....Those early KC Para sets have really stood the test of time!!.

I like what you've done Eazy.....we don't see enough trench-action on the forum.....great set up mate{sm4}

Cheers guys I'm really happy with it and those paras are just about as good as it gets in my opinion.
In fact a lot of the D-day releases from around 7 or 8 years ago are still great figures.
As for the trench I particularly like the gun emplacement with netting.
It looks great.

Looks great mate defiantly BOB stuff going on there,might have to invest in one cheers for the pics.

Great dio mate, reminds me of the Normandy beach scene on Saving Private Ryan when the Rangers are storming the German trenches.

Nothing wrong with the angles you have; really nice layout and shots.
The scenes could be out of the movies as previously mentioned (Band or Brothers, Saving Private Ryan), or any of a dozen different WWII flicks.

Cheers mate- you are right. When I saw the trench set on display I thought of that trench scene in episode 2 of Band of Brothers. Probably my favourite episode.

Great looking dio. The JG pieces look terrific in the scene.

Very nice James, as a few others have already pointed out its very "Band of Brothers" I like it {bravo}}

Craig

Good setup. Using ground effects and a few diorama accesories really bring a display of K&C pieces to the next level. Those U.S. para's definitely have stood the test of time well, they look great. :cool:
