Cheers Forum Squadron Members,

Per the Figarti website, set # VTN-022 (Marine Huey in 1:32) has landed. What a stunning addition for Vietnam collectors and at $369.00, a very reasonable price. I hope this is available at Chicago to carry home. What a great diorama center piece to go with their Vietnam line. I have no doubt that the New First Legion releases will go perfectly with this. ****ed, this is good!

Enjoy,
Marc

A great looking model for sure. However, its not a Marine Corps Huey. The First Air Cav (Army) insignia is on the tail . . . .

I would not worry as I believe they are doing two different versions which might just explain the insignia. We will all know shortly via OTSN! Apparently, the Huey comes with four figures too.

Thanks,
Marc

If they are available in Chicago, I will definitely be bringing one home.^&cool^&cool

I hope so! I bet Tom "Touchdown" Dubel is foaming at the mouth on this release.

Especially with the Steelers winning today, the world is now right!!!!! Awesome and I am getting this too!
Tom

You can never have too many Hueys!

Guys,

See my thread, "The First Team in a Hot LZ" for the three variants of the UH-1 Huey that Figarti will be offering.

This Huey may get me starting a vietnam collection

Same here:smile2:....This Huey is quite the motivator and may well result in further rapid develpoment of First Legion's Vietman line....as mentioned FL figures would go quite well with this Huey

WOW! what an eye popping beauty this is and sure to be a quick selling big hit. Great job Figarti team!

Can someone provide the Figarti web site link for this ....For some reason I'm not seeing it there...

Thanks all.

I don't really have an interest in the more modern era conflicts but I have to say this is a superb model, for any collectors of this conflict this must be like Christmas day!^&cool{bravo}}

Its been taken from the Figarti site. Apparently it was a 24-hour teaser. I'm sure you'll see many pictures from Chicago Show maybe late Thursday or certainly Friday. Typically, Figarti releases official product photos during the show sometimes Saturday or Sunday of products that are available at the Show or soon will be after.

I have it on good authority that the HUEY will be available at the show. The Air Cav version for sure, not sure about USMC version yet. So contact your Figarti dealer and especially the ones at the show and ask them to hold one for you.

I'v collect Figarti Vietnam War series from the beginning and can't wait to get my hands on one of these beauties. Steven Chong's at the show and tells me the new Figarti figures being released with the HUEY are some of the best they done. ..COOL!

Very..very good!!!!!....I don"t collect Nam myself, but you can almost hear the door gunner shouting GET SOME!!...GET SOME!!.

The Air Cav ones seemed to be the most popular and there were a lot at the Show. I mean boxes and boxes.

The figures look good and are compatible with FL.

You can also get a motorized version for 100 more.

Brad,

Can you shed any light on the motorized version? Will this be a stock item with dealers or special order from Figarti? Does the housing for the battery(ies) and motor compromise the look at all? Does the tail rotor also spin? (Sorry - lots of questions from a very excited puppy :redface2:). It sounds too cool a feature not to have.

Cheers
Simon

Simon,

Fraid I don't know the answer about the ordering. I recall there was a wire hanging down (to plug in, I suppose). Only the main rotor spins.

I can call Matt later this week and ask.

Brad
