New Modelzone Zulu Exclusive (2 Viewers)

Something seems a little off, the last Repulsed sold out very quickly and turned up on ebay several times at twice and three times the price. It's a nice piece but the asking price should be perhaps a marked up price of 25 percent. It is possible someone is scooping up the preorders with a view of making a tidy profit down the track. This may not be the case, but something does not add up. Richard is intending to increase the limit on these exclusives which may solve the problem in the future. Cheers, Robin.

I know it didnt seem to add up to me ether, especially aftrer reading that Richard had increased the run on these sets id of thought that there would be some still left to order :( its a bit annoying when ive never had a problem pre ordering a set before. Might pop up to my local store & see if they can order me one.

Hi Craig

The local store should be getting some stocks, get them to put your name down to reserve one for you. I don't agree with anyone hogging stock and trying to make a quick buck

Best of luck

Martyn:)

I have done this with all of my previous AZW Modelzone Exclusives, I had my local store save one for me and I collected it from them.

Cheers

I had some problems with my last pre-order and only the Richard kindness allowed me to have the beloved 'Repulsed' set.
My problem was related to my (virtual) credit card expiration.
I do not want to polemize of course, I wish just to understand. Really it seems to me that the situation has not changed. Some days ago I tried to make my new pre-order for the July set (using my old account data) and I was am not able to realize if the order was taken or not (I presume not because in that account today I see only the previous pre-orders).
In my opinion there is not in the MZ procedure the chance to provide a new card number if expired and therefore to order a new set.
I hope to have been able to pre-order the July set creating a new account providing a new mail address a new password and a new card number of course.
Maybe I'm wrong?.... someone has a different experience? ...why is not possible to confirm/renew the card whenever I place an order (like many other retailer sites)?
Sorry for my English, thank you
Carlo

Has this set sold out already? Ive only just seen it advertised & its saying unavailable for preorder :(

Craig

Hi Craig - I think we have caught MZ on the hop, they have not "activated" it yet, that is why it says "unavailable for preorder". There are plenty left.

I shall get on with them and let them know someone is asleep at the website switch there. UGH!

Richard

Thank you for the feed back Richard its good to know I havent missed out {sm4}

Cheers Craig

Why am I not surprised.

Spoke with MZ earlier and there was a glitch indeed, had only put into their system that they were getting 300 and those 300 did indeed sell out quickly so the website stopped taking orders. The site is being updated with the 600 number and should start accepting orders again. I know there are some hassles here and things have been less than perfect with MZ, but I would ask you all to keep in mind that these exclusives are made possible because MZ has stepped up and committed to them, had they not they would not be made. That said, I understand the frustration with trying to obtain this with the minimum of hassle and am trying to help streamline things, but obviously there will still be hiccups.

Anyone hear when the "Down but not Out" set will be ready for shipment?
Brian

That's a shame, but it now seems likely we will not be seeing any figures from them, certainly not in the short term. Time will tell, but I will not be holding my breath. Robin.

Hopefully, another company will make exclusive AZW sets.

Brian I found that there's been nothing special about the sets from Model Zone other than they've contain different poses and made in a limited addition to be sold by Model Zone exclusively. The quality standard has been the same as any other sets from WB. What makes them excluses is the limited amount of sets made and the appeal of the sets that have been made. I'm sure you've noticed that WB has been providing limited editions in the series lately and soon will become exclusive due to the amount of sets that have been made and how soon they become no loger available from WB and we're seeing that now on some of the latest releases.

In reality Brian you'll find along with others that without future exclsuive figures being provided by Model Zone and only those from WB will work out best for all based on previous dealings with Model Zone..............The Lt.

Joe,

I fully agree with you. I would not be saddened if AZW exclusives were stopped. It was always a chase to get them and expensive.

Brian
