NEW RELEASE: Panzer Lehr!

TCS presents Panzer Lehr! : One of the most elite units in the entire Wehrmacht. Formed in 1943 from the cream of Panzer veterans of the Eastern front , and the primary tank instructional schools in the Reich, it was a formidable formation indeed. Ironically it also concentrated the cream of Germany's tank commanders in one division, this was to prove a disaster when the unit come under intense attack as the veteran losses were huge. Its elite status called for it to be incredibly equipped like no other Panzer division.

TCS has created our first set composition that brings back that haunting vision of Europe’s most feared infantry ever. Our Nebelwerfer team is complete with sets of ammo. Check out these great sets and be sure to lock yours in early. These limited edition set are slated for shipping in about 45 days with pricing as per usual, e.g.: no suprises! Look for even more great release tidbitties as we move forward this month.

Tally Hooo!

Very nice having the rockets in plain view to go along with the Nebelwerfer ! {bravo}}

pleased someone has finally decided to make a nebelwerfer. will there be a winter spin off from this as the Lehr fought in russian also???

Agree about an imbalance with allied forces CS are hard to dio with other makers IMO and, scenes are quite one sided

Think you make a good point Mitch about CS not mixing well with other company's figures

Thanks Mitch.

In regards to figure sets we could see big gaps in our catalog in regards to excellent figures sets to go with our armor so this was remedied starting with this set. In regards to winter sets being offered your on to something there ^&grin

Cheers all!

Brian

It would have been nice if some of the Panzer Lehr figures had been modelled wearing distinctive panzer-wrap uniforms - these just look like generic Wehrmacht

Brian...

That sounds good I have wanted a decent nebelwerfer set for yonks. winter would be spot on.

Now, how about that sturmtiger!!!!!

Regarding the issue of size AGAIN !......I am actually buying a lot of TCS AFV's as of late, because they have the BIGGEST AFV's which are matching up well with TGM, FIGARTI and K&C main stream figues. I am not buying too many TCS soldiers because they are BIG.

Now let me qualify this, TCS's soldiers have the same oversized proportion in relation to their vehicles as the above mentioned manufacturers, so they are no worse than anyone else and I do like their figures, but if you take the slightly smaller figures of the manufacturers mentioned above, in relation to TCS's AFV's you end up with a very good figure to AFV balance. I have a suspicious feeling another TS maker is going to design one soon (Sturmtiger). I like the extra detailing of the shoulderboard pipings and the L for the unit. Hope this attention to detail is not just for the display figs.

Got some of the new 1938 figures and I must say the detail and paint is NOT what it use to be.

O.T. K,

If you have time, could you possibly post a few pics of your new 1938 figures compared to earlier CS releases? I'd like to see the contrast between the new and the old. Thanks! Joe
