New Resins/Prototypes at the March Grey Goose Stand LTSS (4 Viewers)

What an incredible array of superb castings.
Thank you very much, Roy, for posting the pics.
Like everyone else, I am really, really wondering how he can do all that?
He got to sleep some times, doesn't he ^&confuse

His output is absolutely amazing!

Roy,

thanks SO much for posting all the images of the JJD figures, its really made my Sunday morning :)

See you at the next show in June,

John

Thanks for providing the photos and info, looks like some more well detailed models are coming soon...to a store near you.

Thanks for posting the pic's of the Jagdpanther prototype Roy, it looks amazing along with the detail on that WW1 vehicle with the Lewis machine guns. If John ventures more into WW2 and produces jeeps, kubelwagens, trucks, halftracks, more tanks etc in detail and quality like that then it's going to be happy days for us WW2 collectors!!!

Tom

Thanks for the photos! I've always hoped John would get into WW2 because I love the quality of his work. I hope it does very well for him as I don't collect FL WW2, and no longer collect K & C WW2 tanks (but will likely make an exception for the new Israeli Sherman depending on price).
That WW1 truck prototype looks great too. The mounted Celt looks very nice too. Not enough variety in poses for the Celts on foot for me; most look like the same guy at different points of a sprint. Thanks again for the great pics.

Absolutely! I'm in need of someone to satisfy my WW2 addiction. For one reason or another the current producers just don't work for me. So glad to see John test the WW2 waters; I have been hoping for this. His work is stellar.

Hi Joe,

The way John does "same guys" at a different point of sprint, is exactly what I like.
I believe that what a charge of troops would look like.
That counts for uniformed troops, but especially it's good enough for Celtic Warriors, or any ancient tribes, since they would be all individually clothed.
The slight variety of poses does the deal for me.
Often, with other mfrs we get 1 to 3 advancing/charging poses and that's it.
I just got the "Battle of Leuthen" diorama completed, and the Prussian poses of charging troops are just slightly different.
But that's what they do, they are charging.
I like his approach a lot.
Just the way I see it :smile2:

Can now see John will be getting a lot of my dollars this year, covering for the first time WW11, me chasing those WW1 vehicles and War of the Roses. Thank goodness John's release schedule is sedate with the material shown coming over the next 6 months giving plenty of time to budget for these top of the range products. Go John. Robin.

Hi Konrad,
What you're saying makes perfect sense, and I'm certain the painted figures will looking amazing. They will be perfect for your use, and one cannot go wrong w/ JJD's quality. I'm sure the fabrics/leather/shields will all be painted in a variety of colors/designs resulting in more distinguishing contrast between the figures (to make me happy- LOL). The sculpting looks fantastic. They have animated running with such realistic fluidity. It's always welcoming to see someone making enemies of Rome. The possibilities are endless. I hope these do well so the range continues earnestly.
Joe

Couple of points mentioned by John today :

There will be 2 painted versions of each Barbarian figure, each will have a different shield.

The JP price should be around us$250.

Price for JP is reasonable considering the detail and interior.

The celts look great look forward to them and I believe Romans
the Berserker that was released as club figure is a great indicator of the new upcoming ancient range from JJ

If you had been paying attention to the forum you would know Jenkins sticking to Barbarians and will not be doing Romans as agreed with K&C that K&C will do Romans. With FL, TG, CS and now K&C doing Romans do you think it would be a good move for Jenkins to go that way as well ?

I don't have a Roman collection...but if someone produces a Roman Bath set with the extras...I'm in.

Pretty sure that the 'Roman no Roman' question is not set in stone. Guess we'll wait and see 🤔😏

Thanks so much Roy for posting those great shots of future releases. Glad to see WoR continue to grow, and the charging Celts look fantastic.
Much to look forward to.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics - very interested to see the Celts when they are finished.

Thank you everyone. Very appreciated! - It's always a pleasure posting pics of the new forthcoming JJD items :)

Just a few more pics - mainly the new Albatross to be released next month. Far superior to the first plywood finished fuselage in my opinion. (Fuselage wood finish much darker)
and of course now with cockpit detail.

Cheers

Roy

Hi Old Bill,
Do you know if the Crossley Tender by JJD that you have pictured along with the Jagd....comes with a driver and the cargo area - covered by a canvas canopy - is open so as to add cargo to it?
Cheers
Luiz
