Very nice to read about a fellow forum member in the Standard.
Mike's ACW collection, his display scenes and the photos that he shares with us are always a treat :)

Hi Mike,
here is a glimpse at it.
Sorry I can't do a good format to read it, but I am sure that Mike will provide you with the article soon.

I did get the page scanned Michael, but my first attempt at emailing it to you failed and I haven't had a chance to try a second attempt :redface2: Anyway, how about those Packers!

Looks good! I can't wait to read it when my Standard finally turns up! British post is rubbish this time of year!!!

WB could not profile a nicer man or a better student of the ACW. It is a well deserved profile who believes in the products and always has something decent to say or to present. Happy Holidays Mike!

Agree 100%.Happy Holidays Mike. {bravo}}{bravo}}My cousin Mary is a Packers freak and most of the clothes she got for Christmas had something with a Packer logo on it.Her husband is a Saints fan so it makes for an interesting household.

Couldn't agree more. Great article.

Hi Mike,
Congrats on getting a profile! Great pics, and a great article! Does anybody remember the first young collector article, way way back? If not (which is probably the case) check it out; say hi to a much younger me! Welcome to the "club" Mike{sm4}!

Great article Mike. What is the ribbon for on your artifact display?

I belong to the Badger State Archaeological Society of Wisconsin. Several times a year the Society hosts public shows at various locations around the state. Awards are given out for various reasons for those collections being displayed. I have numerous ribbons for Best of Show, and best Educational Displays. The ribbons (there are two) in the picture are for Best of Show displays.

Good to see your collection featured in the Standard Mike. I know Richard really enjoyed seing your collection and diorama in person after seeing so many of your images here.
I am looking forward to seeing more great images in the new year!
All the Best,
Ken

Nice to you see your work be recognized Mike. Well deserved for all the time and effort you put forth and share with the rest of us. And so glad you gave up those other lines to pursue ACW! Your true calling. :smile2:

Mike , congratulations on being featured in the latest Standard. You are a great example of a "collector ".
I got a membership to the collectors' club for Christmas but I probably won't get this Standard. Last time I was
a member was 1996 so looking forward to it again.

Kirk
