New WB Fall Releases Now ONline (1 Viewer)

:eek::eek: Dalton and hook Natal Native Contingent Corporal Schiess. Those Naps are awesome looking, also nice to see more American Revolution! There goes my budget.:D

Thanks Randy, some great looking AZW personality figures there;)

I love Schiess, Hook and Dalton, in fact I love 'em all:cool:

Cheers

Martyn:)

Some excellent stuff on there, great new releases.
The 18th, 19th century farmhouse in the ACW series is outstanding.

I am just asking, but are those Connosieur figures worth it?
Does anyone own the first one.
It is a bit difficult to make a decision based on a photo so I would appreciate the opinion of a discerning collector who has seen one in the metal.
I do like this Curassier

Hi Damian,
I got the first Connaisseur figure just before it was sold out, but unfortunately it was not worth the price in my own opinion. It was a nice figure as of the sculpting but the painting did not make it worth some $200.00, so I immediately sold it again.
Maybe I expected too much when ordering a "connaisseur" figure.
This Cuirassier looks great as of the picture and it probably will be sold out before I will have a chance to see it eye to eye, but I will skip this one and rather go for three or four cavalry pieces of the regular series.
Unless you have a dealer close by to look at that piece you will have to trust the web picture and that's what I did on the first one but it did not work out for me.

I was able to get the first one also. Price seemed high for the piece and true the painting was not up to standards of some manufactures. But over all I like it so its some what worth it. And most likely I will buy this new one also before they are sold out.

At least I know what I'll be spending my money on for the rest of the year. The AZW figures are great looking and I will be concentrating on those.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the including the 10th foot in the new releases for the AWI!
Benjamin

Richard or Ken,
could you give us the dimensions of the 18th/19th century farmhouse?
As it is a full building, does it have interior detail too?
Konrad

All of the upcoming releases look EXCELLENT!!!! I especially love the new WWII figures!

Vick:D:D:D

I see that the release dates for some have also changed.

Durbar pushed back until August

And two new AZW figures (we didn't know about) being released along side 2 others we knew about in June.

All the sets look fantastic!
That’s some very nice work!
The Farm House is a wonderful item – Thanks for that!

I have noticed that in the AZW range #20041 24th Foot Kneeling Loading is the same figure that is also in the two-figure set #20023 24th Foot Firing Line #1. In the Napoleonic range #36031 French Light Infantry Voltiguer Standing Firing is the same figure firing pose from the three-figure set #17671 French Line Infantry Chassuers - only its painted differently to reflect a light infantry Carabinier uniform (red collar, red epilates) not a Voltiguer uniform (yellow collar, yellow and green epilates) as its title infers.

The additional 42nd Highlanders will go a long way to help make my British square look real. I think it is funny to be adding to the release before I have seen the first of the 42nd actually available for sale. The only figure so far is the one in the Museum Collection.

King's Man

Sadly nothing new in World War I... I think, Britains WWI are the best infantry figures

The Nimrod SAS is a very welcome addition . No new AZW gloss, but that didn't really surprise me. A few good figures for the matte range but where are the lancers? A couple of guns wouldn't hurt the range as well. But maybe I'm just too impatient :). Like the camel corps officer a lot.
