New WB Fall Releases Now ONline (2 Viewers)

Yes, I love the Classic Gloss.
But I can also appreciate good matte figures. Have you guys noticed the new WWII figures coming up? They look absolutely excellent and collectable, getting better and better. I love the concept.

Thanks Ken,
your insurance to keep up the glossy subject is appreciated.
I know that there are some nice glossy figures out there, in particular by Trophy and Imperial, but since they are retired they are hard to come by and pretty pricy too. Little Legion or Alexander's Toy Soldiers are beautiful too but going by a quality/price relation the Britain's Classics are hard to beat.
Excellent sculpting, excellent painting and up to now reasonably priced :)
Keep it up, Britains ;) :D

Yes i must agree on that..maybe there's not so variety of subjects as in the other brands focusing only on gloss soldiers but i can see the great difference in painting if not in sculpting (received my first Alexander and i'm pretty satisfied in that respect).I hope too the price will stay reasonable.

Hi All!
To give you gloss collectors some more hope, please know that Richard and I have discussed several new subjects to add to Redcoats and Bluecoats to round out the series. There are several important gaps to be filled in the beginning, the middle and the end.
As you can see part of the reason for the delay in visiting other time periods is that we have gone back to fill in NCOs, officers and other specialty figures for some figures we already have in the range. Doing this has allowed us to offer the F&I/Seven Years War period 45th Regiment of Foot.
Hopefully we will see a few more new units and time periods in the next couple of catalogs, in addition to new figures for existing units.
Be assured that we will continue the Classic Gloss.
Ken

Seems like you Brits get all the goodies first Martyn:rolleyes::rolleyes:....The Lt.

More goodies for the Drift in the Fall/Winter catalog and then the series moves into other aspects of the AZW in 2010 - fantastic. More to budget for.

We need some artillery and cavalry and always more Zulus.
I really hope we have a 7 pounder trying to escape from the Zulus or a Rocket Battery.
We also need a water cart rescue from the Drift.

Well looks like Richard and his staff are going to have to work double and triple time along with Richard finding another factory or two to insure that we have the remainder of the VC winners, the DSM winners, along with a few Sergeants. Coporals and Lance Corporals, and privates members of the Army Medical Department. Lt. Andendorff along with other members of the Natal Native Contingent, and lets not forget Rev. Smith. Your still missing the Commissary Store House, the two wagons, the water cart and the last redoubt. Currently availabe to us of the defenders are a total of 3 members of the 24th ft. firing their Martini-Henrys one yet not availabe. two members of the Natal Mounted Police firing their Carbines I know a numer of us picked up additional figure so both the standing an firing 24th. So we're far from finished manning the Mission Station and having it built. I'm sure Richard along with Ken have plans which I'm sure will consist of Mounted Figures, hopefully starting with the Mounted Infantry, Natal Carbineers, Natal Mounted Police at first along with members of the Royal Artillery manning a Cannon or two and a rocket battery for starters. But only time will tell so let's sit back relax and look forward to what will be heading our way hoping for the poses we'd like to see........The Lt.

Yes, and W.Britains promise in their print cataloge forthcoming "Great War" figures. Sounds good for my Pickelhauben-collection:)

I wish I could say more at the moment, but I can promise you that there are a fair number of new releases that will show up in the Fall catalog.
There will still be a number of additions to all of the well established ranges along with more releases to the newest ranges to keep the interest up.
As always we love to see suggestion!
All the Best!
Ken

Hi Ken!For me a matte series of the Anglo Afghan war of 1842 could be really outstanding. It is described in Flashman.A last stand at Gandamak could be really wonderful, all the 44th in poshteen coats , the colours of the 44th wrapped around Capt.Souter's waist, Dr.Brydon returning as the only survivor...It could be part of the Redcoats series too!
