down by 2...4 minutes left...Peyton will win this game...it's what he does...

He threw not one, but two horrible INT's, one of which was a PIC 6, two ducks.

I was on a sports forum in a live chat during the game and several posters made comments about how Manning came out in the second half a different QB, but wore down as the half progressed....................perhaps some "assistance" at halftime? Things that make you go hmmmmm..............

Let's go Chiefs!!!! :)...Sammy

Well the game is in Kansas City, so you still have hope.

At this point, barring a Ravens loss, which would really cause a @##$storm as several teams would finish 9-7, only one spot is left; if the Ravens win and SD loses, the Ravens are in and if the Chargers win, they are in.

Pretty simple...................

you think they smuggled him in a glass of that Rocky Mountain Water...

I think Rivers has a shot here, the Steelers beat the Chiefs up somewhat and if San Diego can defend the pass, they win. On top of that I really would like to say goodbye to Joe Flunkie on tv for the year. That dull mug alone is enough to hurt your eyes, but then when he speaks, the hearing goes too..........................lethal combination. (Yes sports fans, I really dislike him living in Bmore and have him shoved at you 24/7, if he had any personality, I would feel different. At least Peyton is a likable guy, good talker, fun to listen to for the most part).

Steelers are in a quandary with the premise of potentially playing Cincy back to back if they win right?, I think we want to win b/c then we get home field, correct?

Looks like time has caught up with Peyton. Happens to all of us. If they're not careful, they could lose the number 2 seed. His last and best shot to win a SB might have come this past February.

Tom you're killing me; poor Joe. Good QB, but he's got the personality of a house plant.

Win the division, get a home playoff game vs either the Chargers or the Ravens, then go on the road to Denver.

That would be the best case scenario............

Agreed; his best shot was last year, he's not the same QB and looks every bit of his 39 years.

Nice guy and all, but I'm sick of the Manning ballwashing.

Last night after that brutal PIC 6, Gruden says "Well let's look at the replay; did the receiver run the wrong route here I wonder?"..........you're ****ting me right John; that was a wounded duck he threw, nothing to do with the wrong route.

Then on the post game, Dilfer, who on the pre game predicted Denver was going to the Super Bowl, tap danced all around the 4 INT's; this is the same clown who threw for about 47 yards in the 2000 Ravens Super Bowl win over the Giants, can't believe this boob has a Super Bowl ring. Ray Ray must have said to him before the playoffs started "Listen to me your stiff; DON'T do anything stupid, just manage the game, my defense will win it, do something dumb and I'll.....................I'll.....................well, I won't be happy, you don't want to see me putting on my white suit!!!"

Then Young says "Yeah gee; playing QB in the NFL is not easy, I don't know what to say".............You don't know what to say? How about Peyton looked AWFUL for most of that game. Shut down the run and this team is toast................

Priceless!

George, better batten down the hatches, I hear the UGCA..................United Garden Clubs of America will be protesting at your door shortly. Apparently, they got their act together and took a continuing public ed class in Ferguson, Missouri....................................

you guys really think Peyton is finished...he's washed up...Father Time has pushed his skills to ineffective...he's not dangerous anymore...

I don't think there is a team or coach in the league that feels that way...I don't...

yea...he's older...so is everybody else...

it was pretty wet last night...

Peyton never played well in bad weather...never was a mudder...

that last interception looked like it slipped out of his hand...

he had no blocking all night...when he has time...he's darn accurate...

I don't think he's washed up...I think he's dangerous...I wouldn't want to play him...

Defensive coordinators around the league are soiling themselves worrying about THIS guy coming to town;

Without HFA, they're not going to the Super Bowl, another trip to Denver for the AFCCG would be my worst nightmare scenario coming true, Kansas City would be a close second, they'd have no shot in either scenario.

has he gotten that bad since this post?

Going to Denver for the AFCCG vs them coming here if both teams get that far.........big difference.

huge difference...
familiarity...
home cooking...
friendly supportive fan's...
stadium energy...
no travel...
psychological advantage...
huge difference...

Plus one other thing Mike; end of January in New England............cold, wind, snow, more cold, more wind.

Weather; which as you pointed out does not favor Manning.

yea...true...I like Brady to win the AFC...

Green Bay or Seattle could give them a good game...

Probably jumping ahead but provided Seattle wins on Sunday, I like Seattle vs NE in the SB. If so, it won't be fun for NE.

if they do meet...it would probably be the best match up...

I think Seattle's pass rush could give Brady absolute fits...

but if it's a close game...and if Brady gets the ball last...I think he will win...

if they meet...and he wins...I would love to see him go to Sherman and ask...

"You mad bro?"
