NFL 2015 Season (1 Viewer)

Joe is basically Joe Fan. Just gets it off his chest and as a Mets, Jets and Knicks fan, there is a lot to complain about!

You have to respect a guy who's a Jets, Mets and Knicks fan. It would be easy to switch to Yankees and Giants, so a guy who roots for the Jets and the Mets and sticks with his teams should be rewarded with a championship.

If nothing else, the 1968 Jets, 1969 and 1986 Mets and the 1972 Knicks were involved in four of the most memorable championships in sports...............

Sorry guys, but the Vikings loaded up and will now be the favorites to crush everyone on their first Super Bowl!

Just look at these signings:
Shaun Hill - QB - Since every amazing team needs a mediocre backup
Joe Berger - OL - Because in the NFL, 11 years of experience outweigh 11 years of wear and tear on a body
Cullen Loeffler - Long Snapper - I know I know, you're all bowing to the brilliance of the Vikings front office. NEVER underestimate the long snapper!

Oh wait, those last two were already Vikings and nobody else wanted them...

Fear the horns!

As a Vikings fan since 1969, this makes me sad.................:(

hope McFadden can get healthy and stay healthy...they got him cheap enough though...

Patriots signed former Bills TE Chandler; another big target with good hands, 6'6", he always kills the Patriots, that is for sure.

Will be nice to see some two TE sets with him and Gronk; Reggie Bush was in town today too, he'd be a nice get as well.

Also heard Lewis the CB from the Aints is on the block.

Wouldn't be a bad get either.

Chris Borland, 24, has retired from football after one year with the 49ers due to injury concerns, particularly concussions.

I think this is one retirement that could have an impact as here you have one young player deciding the present benefits (money, fame, etc.) are not worth the long term risks. This is a growing trend and could affect the future of the game until they can find a way to make it safer.

Greg Hardy signs with Dallas...

I really have mixed feelings about this deal...while Dallas needs a premier pass rusher...reading the transcript of his girlfriend's testimony on his alleged domestic assault really puts me off...

I know he wasn't convicted of anything in that incident...the charges were dropped by his girlfriend...which I read in another article that he may have paid her to drop them...

but...I'm kind of turned off by this guy...

he says she is lying...and maybe she is...but all the bruises on her body indicate differently to me...

seems the NFL teams will forgive or overlook almost anything as long as it promotes wins...

Sad news in the NFL today as HoF'er and legend Chuck Bednarik has passed away at age 89. Bednarik was the definition of tough and he was the image of the old type two-way player from the NFL's golden 50's. RIP. -- Al

Al:

He was a true representative of the old adage, they don't make them like they used too.

I saw the blurb in that link that the Browns are in consideration for this years "Hard Knocks" team; wow, what a thrill a minute that's going to be.

Has anyone seen the new Browns uniforms?

Good God are they awful, Nike really does suck.

They have "Cleveland" across the front of the jersey and "Browns" down the leg of the pants.

So they have brown stuff running down the leg.

Brown on brown for home games, white on white for away and a brutal creamsicle look for an third alternate uniform.

It's cross between high school and Arena league.

So cheesy....................

Totally agree. The NFL is starting to look like the XFL. The NFL always had a classic look. Whenever it comes between the integrity of the game vs. more revenue the NFL these days always chooses profits.

Looking forward to the schedule release today!!! since my Ravens come to Arizona this year how about Ravens at Cards to open the season?? :)...Sammy

I guess Winston can pay off his victims now since the NFL upheld its typical moral code and selected him #1. Jimbo "I see nothing" Fisher must be delighted. If they ever remake Hogan's Heroes, old Jimbo would be perfect for the part of Sgt. Schultz. I had to laugh when they said Winston celebrated by eating crab legs. Good luck with that guy. Sinking a few hundred million in such a model citizen is going to work out great. Just ask the Browns about Johnny Halftime.

Not much for me in the first round, I am going to wait and see what the Niners do in the rest of the draft.

I was glad to see a UT player (Malcom Brown) finally get picked in the 1st round, by the Pats no less.

Wilfork is gone, Mr Brown, come on down.

This might sound like a cliché, but I can't believe he was sitting there at #32, he was the 12th rated prospect by most national publications.

Now go get some CB's and OL..............

Jets got a good one yesterday, one of the top players in the draft, Leonard Williams. He's already endeared himself to Jet fans: says he can't wait to sack Tom Brady. He will have to wait awhile though. They don't play each other until the 7th game of the season.
