NFL 2015 Season (1 Viewer)

Does anyone really think that the Carolina Panthers or a member of their team was going to assault an opposing player with a baseball bat on a football field in front of thousands of witnesses and cameras?

Jason...

I think most people are asking...

"why did he even have a baseball bat on the field?"

things in the NFL are getting out of control...

coaches...owners...security...somebody...etc...need to get a grip on things...

George,
Hopefully the Burg takes care of business the next 2 weeks. I think I am rooting for the Donkos this week to beat the Bungles and then oh God I am going to say this, I would love to see the Ravens miraculously beat the Bungles the last game of the year.

OF COURSE, this is predicated by the fact that the Steelers NEED to win on their own the next 2 weeks.

TD

According to ESPN, if the Patriots win one of their remaining two games, they get HFA as they'd be tied with the Bengals at 13-3, but would own the tiebreaker of a better record vs common opponents.

SO, the Jets game is not critical; that said, I'd like to see them win it, then rest their injured players in week 17................

I, on the other hand, need to see the Bengals win.

I need the Ravens to win too while hoping for a Niner loss.

The draft race is on now.

I think Washington just won the East...^&grin...

hard to believe...

as slow as they started...

unless Philly stages a huge comeback...

Washingtoon is in...

and Cousins looks pretty good...^&grin

31-46 for 326 yards and 4 TD's...

9 minutes left...

Multiple sources are reporting that Peyton Manning has been linked to HGH use, his agent said the prescription was for his wife.

Ok then.

Can't wait for the ESPN and NFL's response to this.

Has Ted Wells been hired yet to do an investigation?

Imagine the ****storm that would have erupted if this was a story about HGH and Brady.....................:rolleyes2:.

One thing this proves if true; one of the benefits of HGH is NOT improved results in the playoffs then huh?...............:wink2:.

The Mighty Redskins have won the NFC East. OK, not a huge accomplishment on the face of it, but a huge achievement for this team which was picked as the 31st best team out of 32 in the league in pre-season, and up to 2 games ago, hadn't won on the road or won 2 games in a row. I didn't expect more than 4 wins and here they are, division champs. They may not last long in the playoffs, but at least they have made the playoffs. Congratulations Redskins. Cousins has played extremely well for the last 2 months. -- Al

George...

of course Peyton is denying it...but with all the injuries he has had lately...I'm really pointing my finger at him...

unless it gets proven...this will be one of those things where he will deny it to the bitter end...

but you gotta ask yourself...why would his wife be taking HGH...

and if she was...why wouldn't he just come out and say...

"yea...the pills are hers...she is treating whatever injury she had"

Al...

they may have started slow...but at this time of year...it's about being healthy and getting on a roll...

Cousins looked very good tonight...

except for that brainfart at the end of the half...^&grin

very sharp...

good receiving corp...decent running game and their pass rush is better than average...

they could play spoiler easily...

so the Giants game without Odell is pretty meaningless...

should take Minnesota huh?

Sammy:

Further craziness? I am ok with the Ravens picking ahead of the Niners. We need a QB,you don't! Cleveland is the real danger in that regard.

Tip of the cap to you and the rest of the Redskin fans. They are division champs when they were expected to compete for last. Enjoy it, you have paid your dues and I hope they do some damage in the playoffs too!

Thanks, Jason. I'm afraid the pessimist in me won't allow for much of a future in the playoffs but just getting there is the accomplishment for this team. Maybe Gruden will keep his job for a while, after all, he is only the second Redskin coach in team history to win a division title in his second year (Gibbs is the other, and no, I'm not comparing Gruden to Gibbs). ^&grin -- Al

Michael, that brainfart had me shaking my head and really wondering if that missed opportunity would come back to kill them. The football gods let it go, thankfully. I just hope they can stay on a roll and that the rest of the NFL continues to forget about Jordan Reed. :wink2: -- Al

Maybe she was injecting it into her forehead to show solidarity with her husband...............:wink2:

It's an automatic four game suspension if you get caught.

Has ESPN even reported this yet?

Can't wait to see how they and the NFL treat this.

Although style points don't count in wins, they do in the playoffs. As impressive as the Redskins drive to the playoffs has been, they've done it against the NFC East and the likes of the Bills and will have to face the Vikings or the Seahawks, quality teams. Not impossible but distinctly harder.

The NFC playoffs are going to be a war, you've got four solid teams, anyone of which could advance to the Super Bowl; Panthers, Cardinals, Packers and Seahawks, the Vikings are not exactly tomato cans either.

At 9-7, the Redskins have as much of a chance to get to the Super Bowl as the 9-7 Super Bowl Champion New York Football Giants did back in 2011.

When it comes to the NFL playoffs, I love it because like Mike said, it's one and done, if you come out and lay an egg, you're done, much like the 14-2 2010 New England Patriots did vs the Jets, gift wrapping another trip to the Super Bowl to the Steelers, who had about as much business winning that one as the man on the moon, but again, it's one and done, so if you lay and egg, you're toast.

The one thing the Redskins have going for them is that they're on a roll. Even though they've clinched the division they should play next week like their life depended on it. Just keep it going.
