Seahawks better start looking for that magic Fairy dust, 14-0 real quick, this could be cake for Carolina if Seattle doesn't wake up...Sammy

Carolina is rumblin...bumblin...stumblin into a blowout...

I know it's early...

but Seattle has really dug themselves into a giant whole against this defense...

looks like men against boys right now...

everybody looks confused...

the players...the coaching staff...even Carroll is still clapping his hands on the sidelines after each score...

one more TD...and the rout is officially on...
 
after that last interception...

if the score again...

they may invoke the Peewee league mercy rule...

At this point the CFL may be a long shot, I remember his text that he sent to the Browns management as he was falling like a shooting star on the draft board a few years back, "pick me so we can wreck these league together" well he got the wrecking part right, helped "wreck" the Browns and looks like his personal life is a wreck just as well...Sammy
 
This game for the Seahawks is like the bear attack scene in The Revenant

Yeah, that Florida offense when he was there was off the charts good; first down, run for 3, second down, incomplete pass, third down, back to pass, avoids five tacklers, two others whiff, he falls forward for a 8 yard gain..................rinse, repeat.

Yawn.

It amazes me how many NFL scouting departments blow in when it comes to quarterbacks; the college game and the pro game are like apples to hand grenades, two completely different games and success in college more often than not does not translate into success in the pros.
 
Carolina secondary forget there is a second half to play? Apparently, as they haven't covered anyone so far.:rolleyes2: -- Al
 
31-14 just like that...if the Seahawks come back on this one this might better then last years miracle come back against the Packers...Sammy
 
Got to give some credit to Seattle, they didn't fold or give up in the 2nd half but dug themselves a hole to deep to dig out and just not enough magic left in the horse shoe to help them this year...Sammy

I was counting my money at halftime...

a cakewalk...a sure thing...up 31-0...

when the game was over...Carolina still covered the -3...but they made me chew off 4 fingernails...^&grin

Carolina did this to me before...

a few games ago against Eli...

they led 35 to 7 in the 3rd...

and squeaked out a 38-35 win...

unfortunately they were -7 against the Giants and I lost money on that game...

Carolina may not know how to keep their foot on the gas and close out a big lead...

Seattle...Wilson...they don't quit...

I still remember last year...
late in the 4th quarter...
Rodgers celebrating happily on the sidelines against them a few minutes before Wilson came back and knocked them off...

Newton is still a little clownish at times...but an extremely talented clown...
 
Cardinals were fortunate to win and Carolina is lucky the clock ran out. Should be an interesting game next week. I think the really dangerous NFC teams both went home. -- Al
 
Going to be a great NFC Championship game next week, the Cardinals played a decent game last nite but Palmer and co. are going to have to be much better to beat the Panthers but I think they can do it, let's go Red Birds!!!...Sammy
 
The most important thing in a game is to get that 0 off the board and put up points. I think Pete made a mistake in passing up the 3 in the first half as they were going to need it at some point. I've seen coaches do this again and again.
