if NE is not 100% healthy...or if KC's defense has a really good day...this could be a close game...I don't know how serious Brady's ankle is...or how rusty his receiving core is...but I think with Brady's experience...coupled with NE's coaching staff...NE pull away and find a way to win...however...Alex Smith is on a wicked run right now and probably feeling very confident...he's hot at the right time of the year...

Green Bay...or Rodgers...has been so suspect in the second half of the season...at times he looks scared in the pocket...passes way off target...Lacy seems unproductive...and their defense hasn't been very good of late either...except for last week...Arizona...or Palmer...on the other hand...he throws 40 yard passes like other QB's throw screens...they are not afraid to go deep and have the potential to beat anybody in the air...Fitzgerald...Brown and Floyd are probably the best trio of wide receivers on any team left in the playoffs...an aggressive pass rush and a decent secondary...but it's so hard to pass on Rodgers getting 7 points...

Seattle...Carolina...this is gonna be a good game...Newton and Wilson seem to have similar styles to me...I think Sherman makes Seattle's secondary better...but this is a toss up...on a neutral field the spread would be even...I think Carolina has a better pass rush...and I think Newton has a stronger arm and is faster...I like Carolina at home for sure on this one...

Pittsburgh is a big question mark for me...Denver is too for that matter...I'm sure Manning will start the game...but may get pulled early if he is unproductive...I'm not so sure Big Ben will not play...so I will wait on this one til the last minute to select...as I don't think Peyton is gonna blow Pittsburgh out...regardless of their starting QB...Pittsburgh with +7 is attractive right now...

The game is New England, Brady is arguably the greatest QB of all time, Bellichek is arguable the greatest coach. Don't waste your money betting against them at home, beat up or not.

I like the Cardinals at home over Green Bay. That's the only game I feel confident enough to put money on. There are just too many question marks in the other matchups.

Antonio Brown has been ruled out for the Steelers. Huge loss, still have Wheaton, Bryant and Miller, but that is large production that is not there. This shows you how dangerous headhunting hits are. What Burfict did is not part of the game, no way, no how, I still stand by that he should be suspended for at least a year. That wasn't even a bang bang play, the ball was long over Brown's head and Burfict took numerous steps. Oh well, can't cry over spilt milk, Sunday should be interesting, you never know, if Ben is in, they got a shot.

TD

I read where mr. Pac arse got fined 29 G's today, he also made his apology (which isn't much in my book) to Brown, it's kind of poetic justice that Cinncy finds itself public enemy no. 1 for the Ravens and Steelers these days, as the Bengals have beaten the Ravens now 5 times strait, but more then anything it has been the dirty play of Cinncy that has been at the for front of those games lately, Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore has been one of the better rivalries in the NFL for the last 7, 8 years or so with some killer games with trash talking, bad blood and some hits here and there that drew a few flags for both sides but there has always been a fine line that neither team crosses, but as far as Cinncy they seem to want to embrace the thug life, we'll see how it plays out in 2016 as they have almost 20 free agents and that talent well is going to be much drier next year...Sammy

Agree, the Bengals are an outright classless organization that starts at the top to Marvin Lewis to a history of loser candidates called players. I looked back over the last decade and they have a large number of losers. As I said before Kharma is a proverbial beatch and it always comes around. Burfict or Jones would be dead or in jail without the NFL, and that end is probably still on their horizon as they playing careers are on the downside.

IMO of course.

Well, it's finally game day, a long week of radio and TV free time for me, don't want to hear how Jones was out smoking weed, Gronk has back and knee issues, Brady is gimpy, the Chiefs are going to come in here and roll the battle worn Patriots.

Have to say, there is nothing like the feeling you get when your team is in the NFL playoffs, it's one and done, so bring your A game.

Incredible to think if they do win today, they'll move on to their 10th AFCCG in the past 15 years with the opportunity to go to the 7th Super Bowl in that time, 9th in team history.

As impressive as the Packers in the 60's, Steelers in the 70's, 49ers and Redskins in the 80's and Cowboys in the 90's were, this run for the past 15 years has to be the greatest of all time, we're talking fifteen years with a winning record, missing the playoffs twice in that time, both on tie breakers, 6 super bowl trips, 4 wins, 9 AFCCG's, including four in a row. Actually, the 49ers run is right up there, started in the early 80's and continued for close to 12 years, with 4 super bowl wins as well.

However, to do it in the free agency era and not by buying talent but by drafting it and continually losing players due to free agency is most impressive.

Hoping for a positive result today; if it doesn't happen, it wasn't meant to be, life goes on, I've still got the best gig I could have ever hoped for with the toy soldier business and a smokeshow for a girlfriend, so life is good.......................

yep...win or go home...

NE/KC will be a good game...

if KC's pass rush gets to Brady...he may have a rough time...

but if it's a close game...there is nobody I would want more than Brady to have the ball last...

I think this is actually a much tougher game than if Ne faces the winner of Pittsburg/Denver...

Even with that last TD to make it 21-13 KC is clearly over-matched. The Chiefs D can't stop Brady.

Yep. Anyone who bets against Brady at home may as well just set fire to their money. Chiefs have had their chances but couldn't score 6 when they needed it. Smith has been unimpressive and I doubt he can get 2 more Td's. Brady has pretty much done whatever he has wanted to, whenever he needed to. -- Al

Give Brady two weeks, home field and his receivers, so not good for the other guys!!! On two of the drives, Brady appeared to be playing an old fashion game of catch with his receivers.

I like Alex Smith and I still feel like he got run out of town when he was a Niner. With that being said he is not the guy you want at QB when you are down by 10+ points.

Patriots win and also cover -6 closing line.

Edelman with 10 catches, 100 yards, had a few drops early, then was money. Gronk was a beast as well, two TD's.

This defense concerns me, the Chiefs converted 2,345 3rd downs, the defense could not get off the field, now Collins, Jones and Mayo are banged up, all came out of the game.

So it's either home vs the Steelers or on the road vs the Broncos.

Either way, their fifth strait AFCCG.

Unbelievable.

Reading just like a story book, Everyone knows that it's gonna be a Pat at Broncos (Manning's swan song in the rivalry I think) AFC Championship, Chapter one finished Pats beat Chiefs, on to chapter 2 on Sunday...Sammy

Where did Green Bay find this defense and offensive line? I have never seen night and day like this from week 16. In week 16, Rogers was sacked 8 times, tonight, they haven't touched him.

And the Packers look like the 86 Bears on defense. I am stunned by this game. Really stunned.

Big difference when you have your 1st string offensive line back. In week 16 GB was playing their 3rd & 4th string due to injuries. TD - GO PACK!

Have you ever seen such a busted @ss luck touchdown in your life? It hits a defender's arm, bounces up in the air (9 times out of 10 its a pick) turns into a TD pass. Carson has played the worst game I've seen him play all season, and he has the lead . . . and Green Bay just turned it over on downs at their own 25 yard line. It is better to be lucky than good!

Not unbelievable. Predictable. Your Pats are that good. Belichek. Brady. Gronk. Edelman. Amendola. As I said around week 11 or 12 of the season, if they are healthy they can beat anybody. They looked pretty healthy today. Enjoy it George. The perfect storm comes every now and then. For me, it was the 96 through 2009 Yankees. Your Patriots have had a 15 year run for the ages. Congrats.

TD!!!!! Unbelievable . . . . . Tied game ...............

How good is Rodgers, or how bad is the Cards pass defense to allow 2 Hail Mary completions on the same last minute drive? Now THAT is unbelievable. -- Al

Amazing win by the Cards. Too bad that Green Bay lost. Good game. -- Al
