NFL 2015 Season (2 Viewers)

I'll take some of that action, but you guys should already know how this is going to play out??? Manning's last ride strait to the Superbowl and he retires a Champ...so I'm going with Broncos at home, Steelers are a walking MASH unit right now, taking the Pats who are rested and ready for the Chiefs, in the NFC the Cards will win a close one here in Arizona against the Pack and the Seahawk playoff luck will run out of gas and Cam will take his Panthers to the NFC Championship game...Sammy

I'm 3-0 and hit every game on the dot, all is left is a Bronco win, but in some strange, bizzaro, weird way I wouldn't mind seeing the Steelers pull off a upset and win, that's right Tom you heard it here first :), let's go...uh, I can't do it ^&grin...Sammy

Sammy we are trying, if we can keep offense moving we have a shot. D has stood tall holding 2 fg's after incredible starting position. Hey, its early and I feel like it is a win already in the fact that the Steelers showed up and are giving it a go. Now, just to get special teams moving...................the right way...................

Manning's receivers seem to be allergic to catching the ball.:rolleyes2: -- Al

Receivers are used to catching tight spirals, not end over end wounded ducks.....................Manning with a whopping 99 yards passing in the first half.

Pittsburg is hanging in there, up one at the half.

After watching the first half of Pittsburgh/Denver, I have no doubt that either one of these teams are cannon fodder for the Patriots.

I agree, but Pittsburgh has looked much better than Denver within this uninspired performance. -- Al

Al, as I posted earlier, as a Steeler fan, this is more than I hoped or thought, we just can't seem to close on some of these opps. Again, hopefully we can somehow find a way to win.

Tom, the Steelers sure seem to want it more. Denver's offense has looked pretty bad. -- Al

Congrats to Broncos, they got a play when they needed it and our luck ran out.

A team finally wins with the ground game and it's Brady vs Manning, Chapter 17, coming up. -- Al

Steelers gave game away. Two drives in the fourth quarter ruined by face mask and fumble. They played better than I thought they would without Brown. It's a long way until August now.
Patriots to Super Bowl again. Manning's arm is shot.

I agree, the Broncos were ripe to be had. It is a shame as it seems a wasted opportunity as Big Ben is not getting younger. Again, they played with a lot of heart and effort, just came up short and I hate to blame the back up to the back up running back on this, they gave it good run.

That said, Broncos D and Manning came through as well as Broncos Kicker, that was the difference in the game.

AND not that I will be right, but it would be nice to see Carolina take it all, Cam is a helluva an athlete. On the other hand Carson Palmer has persevered a lot and I love Bruce Arians too. Not that I dislike Pats or Broncos, I think they are all class organizations left and I guess in a way it will be nice to watch the games and not really lose on any of them.

Now wait a minute!!! Don't me started with the "cheater come out" trash talking about your boy over there...what's his name'...Tom "I like 'em squishy" Brady deflate gate crap. And how do you know "Mannings Arm is shot"...hmmmmm...are you in the locker room undressing the man? Hmmmmmm.....I think ole Rothleishambuger's arm was in worse shape than Mannings. I would like to see your report tomorrow Doctor Steel and a full prognosis prior to next weeks game...signed and dated.

Don't be so quick to predict the Supa Bowl my friend and tdubel for shame on you "liking" jrsteel's post so fast and furious.

Go Broncos!

John from Texas

Tom has a good point about being able to watch and enjoy without losing. We got 4 good teams left and whoever gets to the SB will have earned it. First time in a while that I don't actually dislike one of the remaining teams enough to root against them. -- Al

No doubt about Manning's arm, I haven't seen that many wounded ducks since my last hunting trip back East!!! the fumble killed the Steelers as they were moving for another possible score, so hats off to them for playing good ball without so many starters against a solid Bronco defense.

As far as the games next week, I still have Manning riding off into the Superbowl, he will become a game manager as he did today and let his defense win it for him, the NFC game again I hope Palmer can get rid of his jitters and play a better all around game on the road, he'll need it but think the Cards pull off the win, so Denver vs. Arizona in the Superbowl are my picks...Sammy

Steelers gave Denver all they could handle and then some. Not sure why Tomlin didn't go for the field goal on the drive in the first half that got derailed by the 15 yard facemask penalty, would have been a 51 yarder in that Denver air.

Despite being down their top RB and top WR, they were driving for the nail in the coffin TD and BAM; fumble and Denver, who did nothing all day, marches down the field for the go ahead TD, despite that wounded duck Frankenforehead threw up that Gay should have had, Sanders got his hand in there and knocked it out.

Get ready for the parade of OPI and DPI calls on New England next week; they'll keep drives going for Denver and will kill Patriots drives.

The league wants the Frankenforehead victory tour and they'll do whatever they have to do to make it happen.

I'm not going to flip out next week, because I know it will happen.

So mark it down now.

In pen.

The Steelers hung in there, in difficult conditions, with crippling injuries, and Big Ben played great with torn ligaments in his throwing shoulder. they have nothing to be ashamed of, and a lot to look forward to next season.

The Broncos should have had at least three longer drives in the first half, but as has been pointed out, their receivers were allergic to the football, dropping six of Manning's passes, three which would have converted third downs.

So #2 Patriots at #1 Broncos, #2 Cardinals at #1 Panthers, how often has that happened? Should be interesting.
